Liangshanzhai is a famous mountain in ancient times. Liang Xiaowang, the son of the Han Emperor, was buried at the foot of the mountain after his death, so he changed his name to Liangshan, 2.5 kilometers southeast of Liangshan County. The Yellow river meanders in the west, the Beijing Hangzhou canal flows through the East, Dongping Lake in the north and plain in the south. In addition to the main peak Hutou peak, Xueshan peak, Qinglong mountain, haoshantou, there are seven branches, 197 meters above sea level. The mountain is steep and the canyon is deep. In the Tang and Song Dynasties, the Yellow River burst, and daze was formed in the Sui Dynasty, with a width of 800 Li.

Because of the book "outlaws of the marsh", it is well-known. It is said that at the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, the peasant uprising army in Songjiang used this as a base to resist the encirclement and suppression of the government. There are many remains of Water Margin stories in the mountains and nearby areas. There is a "Songjiang village" in Hutou peak, and the walls made of huge stones can be seen intermittently. In the center of the village, there is the site of "Juyi hall". Beside the hall, there is a huge stone protrusion and a stone nest on it. It is said that it is the flagpole stone of Xinghuang banner of the uprising army. Yixi has a basin type stone pit, known as "reservoir". In addition, there are youyoujun village, Xinghua village, etc. in the north, there are Liangshanpo, xiaodaifeng and Jiliang mountain. In addition, there are Zhugui hotel in the south, zhaiwang's hometown and other Liangshan heroes' activity places, forming a scenic spot with the theme of "Water Margin".
