Youyang Palace

Through the water curtain road after the waterfall, you can get to Youyang palace. From the summer resort of ancient chieftains to the club where bandit leaders discussed important matters, Youyang palace still retains its ancient flavor. Youyang palace is a typical pure wood structure of Tujia palace in Ming and Qing Dynasties. The thick logs are joined by mortise and tenon, which is solid. Exquisite patterns are carved on the walls, doors and windows of the houses, which are both ventilated and transparent, fully reflecting the creative wisdom of ancient Tujia craftsmen. It is the perfect combination of Tujia architectural culture and natural landscape. It is known as "bonsai" and "soul of Furong Town".
