Cuilang tower is located on the top of yangmeidu park on the West Bank of Zhangjiang at the junction of Ganzhou old city, Zhangjiang New District and Xicheng District. It echoes with Yuhong tower, the Fengshui tower of Ganzhou ancient city. The name of the pagoda comes from the poem of Ganzhou written by Su Dongpo, a great writer of the Northern Song Dynasty: "the mountain is green and the water is jade."
