brief introduction
Shangqing palace, also known as Shanggong, is located at the southeast foot of Laoshan mountain. It has gone through three destroys and three repairs. It was first built in the Han Dynasty and destroyed by water. According to Zhang Qiyan's stele of Juxian palace in Yuan Dynasty (originally standing on the east side of the palace gate, the handwriting has been eroded and hard to distinguish. The stele is a precious historic site in Laoshan Mountain, which was placed in Juxian Palace). Zhao Kuangyin, the Taizu of Song Dynasty, built a Taoist temple for Liu ruochou, the Huagai immortal. The Song Dynasty collapsed in the last years, and the Yuan Dynasty was rebuilt in the first year of Dade (1297). In 1317, Chengwu Lang and Zhu Hui wrote the inscription of rebuilding Shangqing palace, which was placed in Shangqing palace. In the middle of Ming Dynasty, the palace of Shang Qing Dynasty collapsed again, and sun Xuanqing was rebuilt in 1567. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, Shangqing palace was destroyed by mountain torrents, and Liu benrong, a Taoist of Laoshan Hualou palace, presided over the renovation. On the eve of the liberation of Qingdao in 1949, it has become a broken wall. In 1956, the people's Government of Qingdao allocated funds for renovation. During the cultural revolution, the statues and stone tablets of the palace were smashed, the Scriptures and cultural relics were destroyed, the Taoists were repatriated, and the palace was abandoned for a long time. In 1982, the people's Government of Qingdao listed Shangqing palace as a municipal cultural relic protection unit. In March 1991, Qingdao Taoist Association raised funds for the renovation, which took nine months to complete and reopened on December 6, 1991.
