Cultural assets
overview
The history of Tainan University has been more than one hundred years, but due to the development of the campus and the lack of the concept of Cultural Assets Preservation in the past, there are almost no historical buildings in today's campus, leaving only the Red Mansion and black pine as the only ancient witness.
Red Mansions
Built in 1922, it was designed by the Department of civil engineering, Tainan Prefecture. In 1945, it was seriously damaged in the war of air raid in Tainan. After the national government came to Taiwan, the school commissioned architectural scholars qianqianyan to help taro and Zhitian Jiusheng to assist in the planning and reconstruction, and left a legacy on the north wall
