history
In the year of Jimao (1579) of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty, a rare rainstorm suddenly fell in the area of sankui, and the mountain torrents rushed down furiously. At that time, Jinxi, Jianzhou, sanguangong and three bridges collapsed together. After the destruction of the Jinxi bridge at xuezhai, the passing of the two sides was blocked for a moment, which was extremely inconvenient. Forced by the lack of money for the bridge, the people built a small bridge in front of the ancestral hall to get to the temple. On the other hand, the East Bank of the former Jinxi bridge site was purchased by the Zhang family of Guiyan (zhangzhaicun) and became the land of the Zhang family. Xue did not expect that the East Bank of the old bridge became the land of Zhang, which brought great trouble for the future construction of the bridge.
In 1739, the Xue clan prepared to build the Wugong bridge (wooden arch bridge) at the former site of Jinxi bridge. It is said that Zhang's house is the land of turtles and snakes in terms of geomantic omen, but these two things are afraid of centipedes. Therefore, the Zhang clan heard that Xue's house was going to build a centipede bridge, but of course they had to make great efforts to stop it. The former site on the East Bank of Jinxi bridge had been sold to Zhang's family for a long time. Now Zhang's family refuses to build the bridge here. Xue's people have no choice but to build the bridge in a place called Xiaokeng. But here the wind is strong and the water is strong, so it's hard to fix wood. A bridge here is not a long-term solution. Later, Zhang sold the former site of Jinxi bridge to Lin. Soon, Xue bought the land from Lin again. After buying back the former site of Jinxi bridge from a different surname, Xue's people felt reassured, "the heart of restoring the old is stronger!"
In the sixth year of Xianfeng (1856), the Xue family prepared to build the centipede bridge again, and got the support of local big families such as Qiu Guangqing, Su Peiming, Zhang yongcao, and so on. On the day of the 15th of August, Zhang Guiyan's idea of holding the green bag became stronger. Hu Dongwei, the famous Hu family in Xuexi, tried to persuade him, but in the end, it didn't help. Guiyan Zhang told the government that "the county magistrate took bribes and sealed the wood and stone" for the reason of Xue's crossing the border to build the bridge. Xue's construction of the bridge was supported by many families nearby. "There are hundreds of people coming to Wuyang village and other places nearby to help, but it is not the official seal that can seal it. Zhang Nai Juzu claimed to copy, I also Juzu about defense. When the watchman calls the Gong, his mother urges his son and his wife shrugs his husband. It's like martial law that hundreds of people gather and defend day and night. "
On August 29, the bridge arch was completed. "Unexpectedly, when it was time to dismantle the frame, the bridge turned into a long dragon lying on the waves." At that time, more than 50 people on the bridge fell with the bridge, "fortunately, only one person was injured in the left side of the bridge, and later he was all right." At the beginning, everyone blamed Wu Guangqian, the craftsman in charge of the construction, for "the fault lies in the poor craftsman Wu Guangqian's improper rules". They thought that he was responsible for his improper rules and caused the bridge to lie in waves. Later, when the leader thought about it carefully, he felt that it was "really the reason why Zhang blocked the rapid completion". So "blame Zhang, but leave Wu crime".
Influenced by the theory of green pouch, Zhang's appearance was blocked. And the government took bribes and sealed wood and stone. Later, the bridge was built, but it was also called "long dragon lying wave", and the bridge wood was completely washed away. "For a moment, the more angry Zhang is, the more determined he is to donate. He clan will donate bridge wood... " In addition, the craftsmen should prepare to build the bridge again. "But Zhang obstructed, the more he bribed, the more he promoted the investigation, the less he judged the second trial."
Soon, Yang Bingchun, the new county magistrate, took office. After he took office, magistrate Yang personally carried out the survey and made inquiries all the way. After investigation, he also thought that it was most appropriate to build the centipede bridge at the former site of Jinxi bridge. He issued an edict to Zhu, demanding that "the construction should be carried out on the spot, without delay or delay". If there is any further obstruction, it must be strictly dealt with. It was November 21, 1856. Ten days later, on the ninth day of December, the arch was first completed. In April of the next year, the corridor was on the beam. In May, Xue's house bridge was finally completed!
At 10:35 am on September 15, 2016, Taishun meteorological station issued a Red Rainstorm warning. Heavy rainfall caused many landslides in Taishun, and flood caused by rainstorm destroyed xuezhaiqiao. At present, the components of the destroyed corridor bridge have been basically found, which can be used for future reconstruction.
