New Year picture Village

New Year picture village is located in Xiaode Town, nandamen, Mianzhu City, Sichuan Province. It is located between de'a highway and Chengqing highway. It was merged by Dacheng village and shejiantai village in December 2010. The total area of the village is 5.1 square kilometers. There are 26 groups and 2716 households in the village, with a total population of 6164 people, including 3120 women.

The core area of the New Year picture village is 1750 mu, which is a high-quality rural folk arts and crafts cultural tourist attraction based on rural tourism, New Year picture commodity production and processing base construction, combined with the new rural construction.

In April 2020, the New Year picture village was named as the demonstration village of Sichuan Province in implementing the Rural Revitalization Strategy in 2019.

Historical evolution

New Year picture village is located in Xiaode Town, Mianzhu City, Sichuan Province, formerly known as shejiantai village.

In March 2006, Mianzhu municipal Party committee decided to build a new year painting village in the hometown of Chen xingcai, the leader of the Southern School of New Year Painting in Mianzhu.

In December 2010, Mahayana village was merged into New Year picture village.

Village construction

From May 1 to May 20, in a short period of 20 days, 112 rural houses in the center of New Year picture village were rectified. The town made persistent efforts to rectify 224 rural houses, widen village roads by 650 meters, harden courtyard roads by 2630 meters, build memorial archways and squares for New Year picture Village, and successfully completed the first phase of New Year picture village construction.

Through a series of work, the construction of new year's painting village has extended from archery village to tea shop village. Today, an antique street has been built, and the farmhouses have been transformed. Due to the great attention of Mianzhu municipal government, it has actively organized relevant departments and folk artists to develop "Mianzhu New Year pictures", one of the four Chinese New Year pictures with local characteristics, which is famous all over the world, has a long history and exquisite skills. In the good situation of developing this resource, the "New Year picture village" was officially established, and now it is a national AAAA scenic spot.

The New Year picture industry is combined with the development of rural tourism, with the help of farmers' income, with the construction of spiritual civilization in rural areas, and with the construction of new countryside.

At present, among the 1018 households in the village, nearly 100 people are engaged in the production of New Year pictures, with an annual per capita income of more than 8000 yuan. There are more than 200 amateur producers, with an annual per capita income of more than 5000 yuan. With the promotion of earthquake relief and post disaster reconstruction, the popularity of Mianzhu and Mianzhu New Year pictures has been continuously improved, and the sales revenue of Mianzhu New Year pictures has gradually increased. Since the beginning of this year, the purchase volume of units and groups at home and abroad has increased significantly. At the same time, the number of people painting New Year pictures in the village is also increasing.

In May 2014, a TV play named "the legend of Mianzhu New Year pictures" ended its four-day screening on the economic channel of Sichuan TV station, and the audience rating exceeded expectations.
