Hasuhai wetland
During the 12th Five Year Plan period, Huhhot will strengthen the protection, management, science and education demonstration of Hasuhai wetland, and upgrade Hasuhai Wetland Nature Reserve to a national nature reserve. Hasuhai is located at the confluence of the alluvial plain at the southern foot of Daqingshan Mountain, the alluvial plain of the Yellow River and the alluvial plain of daheihe river. The water area of Hasuhai core area is 90000 mu, and the total area of the reserve is 270000 mu. 172 kinds of terrestrial and aquatic vertebrates and 227 kinds of plants breed and grow in Hasuhai Wetland Nature Reserve. More than 20 kinds of birds migrate here every year, such as egret, heron and grass heron. The Wetland Nature Reserve was listed in the "Inner Mongolia autonomous region level nature reserve list" in 2008.
Half heaven given, half man-made: the size, length, width and scenery of Hasuhai are changing. In 2002, he and his colleagues rode bicycles to Hasuhai, located in TUZUOQI, Hohhot city. At that time, the introduction was that the lake area was 27 square kilometers, which has basically stabilized at 32 square kilometers in recent years. There is also some information that is more mysterious, and there is no accurate number to check with the relevant departments, which is about 30 square kilometers. Its size mainly depends on the incoming water, i.e. the thickness of the Yellow River and Daqingshan water. The area expands in the year of abundant water and shrinks in the dry season. With the deposition of the lake bottom, the reservoir capacity will be smaller and smaller without artificial intervention.
According to the local people, because it is the depression of the old course of the Yellow River, before 1962, Hasuhai was not connected with the Yellow River. The main water source was the flood of Wanjiagou and meidaigou in Daqingshan, TUZUOQI, Hohhot, which was greatly affected by the weather. It is not difficult to see from its common name "houboer" that it was once pitifully small. Therefore, there is little attention in historical records.
In 1962, Minsheng canal was introduced into the Yellow River. The water from the canal, which is about 20 meters wide and 50 kilometers long, is so vast that the Hasuhai lake becomes a freshwater lake where the deficit and overflow can be naturally eliminated and replenished. It can be said that today's Hasuhai is half man-made and half natural.
Hasuhai lake is the oxbow lake left by the changes of the Yellow River, which belongs to the outflow fresh water lake of the Dahei river system. Because it is located in the west of taosihao village, tumed Left Banner, Hohhot City, it used to be called taosihao xihaizi, commonly known as houboer. It is necessary to explain that the oxbow lake is the part left by the abandoned original river course due to the excessive bending of the river course and the cutting and straightening of the original river course.
The Yellow River affects the future: a few years ago, I went to Tuoketuo County, Hohhot City for an interview. I learned that the Yellow River in xiashala lake beach of tuoxian section of the Yellow River was very serious, and hundreds of mu of cultivated land disappeared overnight. According to the local water conservancy department, this is the place where "ten thousand rivers belong to trust". There are many seasonal rivers, such as Baobao River, Yinhao River, shilawusu River, Dahei River, etc. Every summer when there is abundant rainfall, the water of each River collects in the Dahei River and then flows into the Yellow River. If the water of the Yellow River rises and falls, you can see the spectacular scene of the confluence of the two rivers. More than 1300 Mu Nanhu is located at the south end of the old city of Shuanghe Town, Tuoketuo county. It is also the old river course left by the "dragon tail" of the Yellow River. From then on, it is the Hasuhai of TUZUOQI dozens of kilometers up.
Villagers at xiashala lake beach in tuoxian County say that for hundreds of years, the Yellow River has not been settled above Hekou village. It has washed out the land in Hedong and left dozens of mu of land in Hedong
It's restless with Hasuhai, it's restless, it can occupy Hasuhai.
Main attractions
Ecotourism: short for halausuhai in Mongolian, which means Heishui lake, is a natural lake with an area of about 32 square kilometers. It is 70 kilometers away from Hohhot. Hubei is surrounded by farmland and pasture in the East, South and West. Hasuhai is a natural lake, known as "West Lake beyond the Great Wall". Hasuhai resort is built according to the lake, with a variety of tourism projects and service facilities.
Humanistic tourism: "nature makes jade, man makes tools." This is a sentence in Hasuhai Fu written by Inner Mongolia writer Junwu. Hasu, known as "the West Lake outside the Great Wall", is rich in grass, silver carp, carp, crucian carp and other fish, as well as large-scale production of river shrimp and crab. The lake is vast with reeds, which is a beautiful scenery in the north and south of the Great Wall.
However, in the 1940s and 1950s, there was a long dry season in Hasuhai, and it was only through later artificial intervention that the scale of Hasuhai reached today.
According to the old man who has lived by the lake for 60 years, in the past, when the weather was dry and there was little rain, the lake could still dry up. In 1962, a 50 km long Minsheng canal connected the Yellow River with houboer, which saved hassuhai from the worry of drying up. In the 1970s, water pumping stations, water retaining dams and fishing grounds were built successively. With increasing water storage capacity, it has become a reservoir that can irrigate tens of thousands of acres of good farmland around, forming a unique landscape of farmland and lake.
There are many reeds and reeds on the surface of Hasuhai lake, which are like islands. Flocks of wild ducks haunt the reeds. The reeds sway in the wind and make a brushing sound. Every autumn and winter, the lake area reaps reeds, like hills.
Although it is a natural lake like jade, it used to be a "houboer" of variable size. It was carved by several generations before it finally became a marquis. In other words, Hasuhai, once completely isolated from the runoff of the Yellow River, has been shaped into today's vast territory in the hands of TUZUOQI people.
In recent years, the tourism industry is booming, building pavilions, waterside pavilions, resorts and so on. Located in the south of Beijing Baotou railway and National Highway 110, with convenient transportation, it has become a tourist attraction in tumechuan area and a pearl in tumechuan plain.
