Changle Minjiang Estuary National Wetland Park is located at the estuary of Minjiang River in Tantou and meihua town of Changle City. It has superior natural environment, rich biodiversity and many rare species. The Minjiang estuary wetland has 1084 species of animals and plants. It is estimated that there are more than 50000 waterfowls migrating here. Changle Minjiang Estuary wetland is located in the east of Fujian Province It is an important "post station" on the migration passage of migratory birds in Asia, Australia and Western Asia. It is a typical estuarine wetland in subtropical area, and is an important representative in South China. Wetland sightseeing park is located in the northwest part of the park. Its symbolic vegetation is large reed, which is the essence of Park eco-tourism. A 2550 meter long sightseeing plank road will be set up in the sightseeing park, through which visitors can enter into the depth of the wetland.
The main content of wetland ecotourism in Minjiang Estuary is bird watching. According to the activity rules of wetland birds, two bird watching houses are planned along the plank road. Here, we can not only explore the impact of tidal water level change on the species and quantity distribution of wetland birds, but also watch the wetland bird landscapes such as swans, geese and green winged ducks.

geographical environment
Location context
Fujian Changle Minjiang Estuary National Wetland Park is located at the estuary of Minjiang River in Tantou and meihua Town, Changle District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. The park extends to Fushan wharf of Wenling town in the East, Wenshi village of Tantou town in the west, Fushan Village of Wenling town in the South and Minjiang Estuary nature reserve in Fujian Province in the north, with a total area of 281 hectares. There are 7 types of wetlands, such as estuarine waters, intertidal beach and mangrove swamp.
geology
The wetland park is dominated by estuarine shoal, which is composed of eel shoal, surrounding intertidal zone and estuarine water area. It is an estuarine shoal formed by sediment transported from the upper reaches of Minjiang river deposited in Meihua channel.
climate
Wetland park is a subtropical marine monsoon climate zone, warm and humid, almost no winter. Eels beach and its adjacent shoals are one of the "ten big wave areas" in Fujian Province. Most of them are windy all the year round, and most of the time they blow "shore wind" (NE wind and NNE wind). The Minjiang Estuary in the area where eel beach is located is trumpet shaped, which has good conditions for storm surge to increase water. The tide is basically a regular semidiurnal tide, and the duration of the ebb and flow is basically equal, with a ratio of 1:1.15.
soil
Wetland park is rich in wetland types, including estuarine water area, intertidal beach, intertidal mudflat, intertidal salt marsh, mangrove swamp, island, estuarine delta and so on. The main soil types in the reserve are fluvo aquic soil, aeolian sandy soil and saline soil.
Resources
plant resources
Wetland park is located in the middle and south subtropical monsoon climate zone, with rich plant resources. There are 141 species of vascular plants in 116 genera of 53 families, including 8 species of 7 genera of 7 families of pteridophytes and 133 species of 109 genera of 45 families of angiosperms (91 species of 77 genera of 39 families of dicotyledons and 42 species of 32 genera of 7 families of monocotyledons). Mangrove plants belong to one family, one genus and one species; salt marsh plants belong to 14 families, 22 genera and 23 species. The main vascular plants in wetland are Kandelia candel, Phragmites australis, Carex brevifolia, Scirpus triqueter and Spartina alterniflora.
The Wetland Park belongs to the transition zone between the cold Arctic flora and the Paleotropical flora, and is located in South China of China Japan forest flora. According to the species composition, appearance structure and ecophysiological distribution of plant communities, the main vegetation types in the nature reserve can be divided into three vegetation types: coastal salt marsh, coastal sandy vegetation and mangrove; Spartina alterniflora community, reed community, Carex brevifolia community and Scirpus mariqueter community There are 14 communities, including Zoysia sinica community, kulang community, bermudagrass community, broomcorn community, Casuarina equisetifolia community, rattan community, Acanthus ilicifolius community, sweet root grass community, Carex humilis community and Kandelia candel community.
Animal resources
The zoogeographical flora of the Wetland Park belongs to the coastal sub zone of Fujian coastal zone. Wild animal resources are abundant. There are 395 species in 111 families of 41 orders. Among them, there are 7 species in 5 families of 3 orders of Mammalia, 266 species in 53 families of 19 orders of ornitha (including 152 species in 24 families of 9 orders of waterfowls), 8 species in 4 families of 2 orders of Reptilia, 3 species in 2 families of 1 order of amphibia and 111 species in 47 families of 16 orders of fish. There are 54 species of wildlife under state key protection, including 5 species of wildlife under first-class state protection and 49 species under second-class state protection.
Wetland park is rich in aquatic biological resources. Among 553 species of aquatic organisms (excluding vertebrates), 268 species of benthos and intertidal organisms; 147 species of phytoplankton, including 118 species of diatoms; 116 species of zooplankton, including 37 species of jellyfish; 22 species of swimming animals (excluding 111 species of fish), including 20 species of crustaceans and 2 species of cephalopods. The aquatic organisms in the reserve are mainly warm water species, forming common species and dominant species.
Development and construction
In 2015, it passed the pilot acceptance of the State Forestry Administration and officially became a national wetland park.
There are 11 hectares of wetland sightseeing park, 105.49 hectares of natural conservation area, 78.31 hectares of ecological agriculture park, 4.56 hectares of Gurong Culture Street and 82.5 hectares of breeding farms in the construction layout of Fujian Changle Minjiang Estuary National Wetland Park.
