It is an excellent scenic spot for viewing Yellow Crane Tower, Snake Mountain and Yangtze River. In history, Baiyun Pavilion used to be another name for the south tower. The name of Baiyun Pavilion originated from the poem of Tang Dynasty poet Cui Hao: "once the yellow crane is gone, it will never return, and the white clouds will be empty for thousands of years.".
Baiyun Pavilion
Baiyun Pavilion, located on Baiyun Mountain, was built in January 2007 and opened on January 27, 2011. It has become a new tourist attraction in Taizhou.
brief introduction
The main project of Baiyun Pavilion is more than 40 meters high, covering 820 square meters and 2898 square meters. The total investment of the whole project is about 55 million yuan. Baiyun Pavilion project is mainly composed of the main scenic spots of Baiyun Pavilion and three secondary scenic spots of Canghai Yunfan, the charm of the ancient city and Century morning bell. The simple and elegant Tang style architecture seems to outline the long history of Taizhou.
Main attractions
Walking up the stone steps of star square, the one meter wide stone road only allows two people to pass. Walking on the road, you can see the lush trees, and the sound of birds can be heard from time to time. All the way up the mountain climbing crowd joking, walking slowly, from time to time will be overtaken by some old friends.
It took nearly half an hour to reach baiyunge. Looking up, Baiyun Pavilion is a square Tang style building, which consists of three parts: platform base, pavilion body and pagoda brake. Baiyun Pavilion is 38 meters high, which is equivalent to one fifth of the height of the mountain. The proportion between the building and the mountain is very suitable. In the streets and alleys in every direction of the Development Zone, people can see the white cloud Pavilion standing high on the top of the mountain when they look up from a distance.
Interior design
In the Baiyun Pavilion project, the pavilion is the head of the dragon, the corridor is the body of the dragon, and the pavilion in the cloud is the tail of the dragon, just like a giant dragon circling in Baiyun Mountain. Located in the north of the main Pavilion, the "charm of the ancient city" mainly displays the long cultural history of the ancient city in the north of Taizhou, which is close to the sea, Tiantai and Xianju. Several stone formations represent the beautiful landscape. A stone book is slowly opened and engraved with the ancient city of Jiaojiang in Ming and Qing Dynasties. The "Century morning bell" on the south side of the main Pavilion takes the dawn of the century as the theme. In the cloud Pavilion, there is a bronze bell weighing more than 6 tons, engraved with the "record of Baiyun Pavilion", recording the whole process of the construction of Baiyun Pavilion.
"Canghai Yunfan" adopts the method of artificial gardening, stacking earth and stone mountains in the northwest of the main Pavilion, and configuring characteristic garden pieces and plants, which can not only reduce the damage to vegetation and avoid the inconvenience of earth and stone transportation, but also increase the landscape effect.
Standing on the pavilion, you can have a panoramic view of the entire Jiaojiang District and the development zone. The Jiaojiang bridge lies on both sides like a long dragon in the distance. The high-rise buildings seem to have become toy houses. Carefully identifying each road is like a 4D map in front of you. You can also happily find your home in so many buildings.
