There are seven sages in bamboo grove in Wei and Jin Dynasties, Wang Tong and Wang Bo in Sui and Tang Dynasties, Shao Yong, a scholar in Song Dynasty, Fan Chengda and Lu You, Yuan Haowen, a poet in Jin Dynasty, Niu ShouZhen, a landscape painter in Yuan Dynasty, and sun Qifeng, a famous scholar in Qing Dynasty. Baligou scenic area includes Taohua Bay, Hongshi River, macaque area, Yuhuang palace and yangzhoudi. Hongshi River

"Hongshi River" is located in baligou "huluya", because the riverbed is Hongshi sandstone, so it is called "Hongshi River". Originating from Shanxi, the river is 20 meters wide and 0.6 meters deep.
