Wufeng building
In the Tang Dynasty, wufenglou (the main gate of Ziwei city Yingtianmen) was built in Luoyang. Xuanzong had a drink under it and ordered the county magistrate and the governor of Sanli to take part in it. It was built in the first year of Daye in Sui Dynasty and rebuilt in the first year of Xianqing in Tang Dynasty. Zhu Wen, the Taizu of the Later Liang Dynasty, ascended the throne and rebuilt the Wufeng building. He went to the ground a hundred feet high and went into the air with five Phoenix wings on it.
Architectural form
Wufenglou is the main gate of the palace city. There are two pavilions in the East and West, which are shaped like wild goose wings. In Sui and Tang Dynasties, Yingtianmen, the main gate of Ziwei city in Luoyang, was built in the first year of Daye (605) of Sui Dynasty and rebuilt in the first year of Xianqing (656) of Gaozong of Tang Dynasty. Li Bai, Tang Dynasty, wrote in his ancient wind: "in the past 140 years, the country has never stood out. Five Fenglou is hidden, and e'e crosses three rivers. "
The concept of Peking Opera
The wufenglou in Peking Opera may be related to the Meridian Gate. The Meridian Gate of Ming Dynasty is the main gate of the Forbidden City. There are nine double eaves main buildings in the Meridian Gate. There are two que pavilions on both sides of the Meridian Gate. There are five pavilions in total, which are like Phoenix wings. They are commonly known as "five Phoenix towers". In the play, "wufenglou" is often compared to the imperial court. In fact, the Meridian Gate had five gates, and only the emperor could go in and out. When the queen enters the palace, she can go once. When the top three in the palace examination, the top three and the top three in the palace examination come out, they can go once. Others are only allowed to go through the side door.
Japanese temples
In addition, there are one or three gates in the South Zen Temple (one of the three gates in Japan), which are located on the five mountains of Kyoto, known as the "dragon's gate of the world", and the upper floor is known as the five Phoenix Tower. This building was completed in 1628, but the original building of the whole South Temple may imitate the Tang Dynasty temple in China.
literary allusion
In the Song Dynasty, Yang Danian's "Yang Wengong Tan yuan" has an allusion of "wufenglou hand." Hanpu and Hanji can be ancient prose, and they are often light prose. The speaker says: "my brother is a writer, for example, tying a rope to a cottage for shelter from wind and rain. "You can make wufenglou hand." When Pu heard his words, he left Shu paper because of his people. He wrote a poem and said, "ten kinds of man paper came from Yizhou and sent it from huanxitou.". Brother, it's useless. I'll help you to build Wufeng building. " Xin Jiaxuan of Song Dynasty used this code in his "Partridge Sky: Dream breaks, so tired in Beijing." the brothers of Jun's family are so funny that they can build Wufeng tower
