The first street of Chinese paper cutting

The first street of Chinese paper-cut is located in the east of Nanguan Huandao, Yuxian County, at the junction of the ancient city and the new district. In August 2010, "the first China paper cut art festival" opened during the street. Luo Yang, Secretary of the branch Party group and executive vice chairman of the China Association for democracy and people's livelihood, inscribed the plaque of "the first street of Chinese paper cutting".

China's first paper-cut street is the first national paper-cut distribution center. In the street, there are two exhibition areas: National paper-cut boutique exhibition and Yuxian paper-cut merchants' individual exhibition. The national paper-cut boutique exhibition covers an area of more than 2700 square meters, collecting more than 1200 works of more than 160 artists from 41 intangible cultural heritage sites of paper-cut in 27 provinces and cities and Xinjiang Construction Corps. During the second China paper-cut Festival and the first Yuxian international paper-cut art festival in 2011, the paper-cut hall collected works from the international paper-cut industry Exquisite paper cuts from ten countries. There are 22 individual paper-cut businesses in paper-cut street, and more than 20 Yuxian paper-cut masters create, display and sell paper-cut here. Among them, 14 paper-cut merchants enjoy preferential policies such as government subsidies for rent. The two exhibition areas, together with the antique archway and the statue of Wang Laoshang, the great master of paper cutting in Yuxian County, form the unique first street of Chinese paper cutting.
