Huaxin Road, also known as "new village for overseas Chinese", was founded in 1957. At that time, the patriotic overseas Chinese who had made their way to Nanyang recalled their country to participate in the national construction. The Xiamen municipal government approved Huaxin road as a place for overseas Chinese to settle down. More than 50 overseas Chinese villas were built one after another, and then extended to the surrounding road sections, finally forming a concentration area of nearly 100 old villas in the city center with Zhongshan Park as the distribution area. Some villas have gradually become private restaurants, coffee bars, hotels, studios, and so on, which make Xiamen's poetry, sentiment and taste gradually rich.
