In 2004, our school began to hold application-oriented self-study examination. In 2010, our school applied for "Automobile Service Engineering", in 2011 applied for "electrical engineering and automation", and in 2013 applied for "automobile maintenance and testing", which promoted the development of self-study examination. The self-study examination of higher education covers a multi-disciplinary teaching system of application-oriented self-study examination. At present, there are 14 undergraduate majors of application-oriented self-study examination and 3 specialized majors of application-oriented self-study examination. In the future, self-study examination majors will be adjusted and increased according to social needs.

In 2009, the college vigorously carried out non academic continuing education, and now there are professional training institutions such as China Enterprise Management Chengdu training center and national vocational skill appraisal institute.
