The campus covers an area of more than 180 mu, with a construction area of 40000 square meters.

Introduction to Sichuan University

Sichuan University was founded in 1896 by Lu Chuanlin, governor of Sichuan Province. It is the earliest modern university in Southwest China. In 1960, former Sichuan University became one of the first batch of national key universities. In 1994, former Sichuan University and former Chengdu University of science and technology merged into "Sichuan United University". In 1998, it was renamed Sichuan University. In 2000, Sichuan University and former Chengdu University of science and technology merged into "Sichuan United University" West China Medical University merged to form a new Sichuan University.

Sichuan University has developed into a vice ministry level university directly under the Ministry of education with a complete range of subjects, covering 12 categories, such as arts, science, engineering, medicine, economics, management, law, history, philosophy, agriculture, education and art. Medical and health personnel as the goal, with undergraduate and junior college education level, set up clinical medicine, maternal and child health, Stomatology, nursing, pharmacy, preventive medicine, beauty medicine, health law and other eight majors. The campus has advanced teaching equipment. All classrooms are multi-functional classrooms with reasonable layout and advanced equipment, which can accommodate nearly 3000 people at the same time, and fully ensure the teaching effect. In order to meet the needs of students' self-study, dozens of special self-study classrooms are set up, which are open all day. According to the characteristics of medical students, the experimental link is strengthened. Therefore, the campus has 12 first-class basic course and professional course laboratories, and has established nearly 20 practice hospitals above grade 2A.
