Wanzhai Drum Tower
Wanzhai Drum Tower is located in Wanzhai village, zhaihao town. It was built in the Jiaqing period of Qing Dynasty. It was repaired twice in the Republic of China and 1976.
The drum tower is a wooden structure with suspended feet. It sits in the northeast and faces southwest. The front eaves and four columns stand on the ridge and the back eaves and four columns stand under the ridge. The ground floor is narrow, with a depth of 2.8 meters. There are facilities such as fire pool and bench. The second floor is paved with floor slab, which is flush with the stone slab drying dam in front of the door. The building on the upper floor is of corridor type, integrating Drum Tower and flower bridge, which is unique, so some people call it bridge tower. It is divided into three rooms in Ming Dynasty, with a width of 6.4 meters, a depth of 2.8 meters and a height of 3.6 meters. It hangs on the top of the mountain and has a small green tile surface. In the Ming Dynasty, there were no railings to facilitate the entrance and exit, while the rest of the parties had railings and benches for people to rest. The upper part of Mingjian rises to the first floor, with a height of 6.8 meters. It has double eaves, four corners and a sharp roof. Standing trees are used as brakes, and there is no drum on the roof.
