Main attractions

Gufo rock is a large limestone cave with three layers in it. The highest part is 30 meters, covering a total area of more than 12000 square meters. The annual temperature is kept at 19-20 ℃. The scenic area in the cave is mainly divided into seven palaces, including the ancient Buddha Hall, Guanyin hall, Wangmu hall, Yuhuang palace, Xiyou palace, Xiaoyao palace and Jinlong palace. Ancient Buddha Hall

The first scene at the entrance of the cave is the ancient Buddha Hall. In the unique Buddha Hall composed of stone curtain and stalactite, three small stalagmites are staggered, just like three Buddha statues. Their appearance is solemn and serene, and the hall is full of Buddha light, which makes people solemn. Ten meters away from the Buddha statue, there is a stone pillar, such as a huge ancient banyan, standing tall and luxuriant, known as "ancient banyan Emerald". Under the ancient banyan, there are three or five groups of "shepherd boys" leading the "cattle" and returning with joy. Next to the ancient banyan, there is a secluded cave. The big cave overlaps the small one, which adds a layer of mystery to the wonderful scenery. Through the Stone Lane winding path, you will arrive at Guanyin hall. I saw a white stalagmite, such as a blooming lotus, in which sat the "Guanyin" Bodhisattva with low eyes. The stalagmite next to Guanyin looks like a baby girl. Around countless small milk stone, like a group of immortals come to worship. One of them is as white as the golden star. All these images vividly constitute a realm of "Zizhu pine forest". On the opposite side of Guanyin hall is the strange landscape of Penglai Fairy Island. Penglai is the legendary fairy mountain on the sea. The scenery here is vast, the sky is clear, the distant sea city is dimly visible, and the red arched place is like a city gate, in which all kinds of buildings are scattered, and there are many scenes.

Queen Mother Hall

From Guanyin hall, you can enter the Queen Mother hall. Here is a lively scene of a peach fair. Overhead a round stone curtain, hanging high in the air, like a snow-white tent. Not far away, there are "Fairy", "crane", "Fairy" and "fairy boy" playing. Behind them lay plates of flat peaches. After eating them, a "stubborn monkey" hid in the shade of a tree and fell asleep. After the Queen Mother's hall, you can enter the Jade Emperor's palace. It is a magnificent hall. The jade pillars rise from the ground, and the silver flowers are splashing on the top. It's a beautiful scene. "Heavenly soldiers and generals" guard both sides of the Jade Emperor's palace, which is extremely powerful. In the strict Jade Emperor Palace, there are two idle "lazy immortals" playing chess on the cloud. Opposite the Jade Emperor Palace, a big tortoise carries a big golden bell. Next to the golden bell, the two "fairies" are dressed in red and plain clothes, stepping on auspicious clouds, just like Fairies in fairy tales. A row of stalactites several meters long on the upper left, like eagles spreading their wings, are watching the "chickens" on the ground. There is a stalagmite shaped like a hen, holding its head up and tail up. It has a premonition of imminent disaster and is urgently calling its children to escape the capture of the "Eagles". After leaving the Jade Emperor Palace, walk slowly down the stone steps. In the distance, a stone curtain just like a huge waterfall falls from the sky. The poet Li Bai's poem "flying down three thousand feet, it is suspected that the Milky way is falling nine days" is the best portrayal. It is said that the hanging stone mantle is the largest one found in all the caves in the six provinces of central and southern China. Below the stone curtain, the "Tang Monk" on horseback, the "Sha monk" leading the horse, the "Monkey King" scratching his head and ears, and the "pig Bajie" with long ears and mouth all appear in your imagination. There is also a stalagmite, the largest Stalagmite in the whole ancient Buddha rock. It is about 12 meters high and takes seven or eight people to embrace. It is like a huge jade carving, carved with snow lotus, corn, cockscomb and so on. The craft is very exquisite.

Xiaoyao Palace

Turn around and go straight up the Xiyou palace, and you will arrive at the highest Xiaoyao palace in the cave. The scenery here is rich in levels and broad in scope. The mountains are undulating, with luxuriant forests and rare trees. It's like a forest park. You can have a feast for your eyes. At the same time, looking back at the Xiyou palace is like standing in the clouds and looking at the earth. A piece of white stone mantle hanging near the cloud is like a crescent moon, which is called "yaochi moon watching".

Golden Dragon Hall

The last scene of the ancient Buddha rock is the Golden Dragon hall, where there is a stalactite hanging more than 10 meters above the wall, like a giant dragon. The dragon head, dragon horn, longan, dragon body, and scales shine brightly and vividly. When you enjoy the wonderful scenery in the cave, Jinlong is here to wait for you and say goodbye to you. The ancient Buddha rock is called the reed flute rock in Guangdong, but it has its own merits and characteristics compared with the reed flute rock in Guilin.
