Yumen Temple
Yumen temple is located in Yunnan Province Mile County northeast Midong Township shiyanjiao Village North 1 km (about 5 km away from the city). Yumen temple was built in 1608 and rebuilt in the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty.
Yumen temple covers an area of about 1600 square meters. The temple is built at the foot of the mountain and sits in the north and south. The existing back hall is a timber structure with single eaves and beams on the top of the hill. On the west side of the stone level at the foot of the temple, there are three small stone caves with a depth of 3-4 meters. There are stone fences in front of the caves, and Yanggong Temple (destroyed) 20 meters to the west of the cave. There is a 30 square meter Taishi reading hole 15 meters below the small stone cave. It is said that Yang Sheng'an studied here in Ming Dynasty. There is a big waterfall in the East and a small waterfall in the West. In the rainy season, the sound of water is rumbling. It rushes down the mountain from a height of more than 30 meters. The water mist splashes and the rainbow appears from time to time, just like the inscription of "snow training hanging in the air" cursive script stone tablet at the foot of the cliff. In 1981, it was announced as a cultural relic protection unit in Mile County.
