Planning and design

In the planning and design of the park, the designers adopted many bold and novel methods. The inner square is 61.8 meters in diameter, implying that Chongqing Municipality is officially listed; the outer square is 82.4 meters in diameter, corresponding to 82400 square kilometers of new Chongqing; there are 43 sign pillars in the square ring area, corresponding to 43 districts, cities and counties of new Chongqing, surrounded by century light pillars representing the vigorous and upward momentum of new Chongqing. The light column is 41.8 meters high, with a red five pointed star embedded on the top and 3002 crystal balls embedded on the surface, echoing the population of 30.02 million in the new Chongqing. The light column base is 3.14 meters high, implying that the National People's Congress has approved the establishment of a market center directly under the central government. The new version of Chongqing map is engraved with 43 districts and counties of the new Chongqing and the specific locations of the Yangtze River and Jialing River.
