Chadaocheng site
Chadaocheng site is a military facility site of Ming Dynasty and a municipal cultural relic protection unit. Located in Chadao village, Badaling Town, Yanqing County. It was built in 1551, the 30th year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty, and reinforced again in 1571.
brief introduction
The whole city outline is irregular rectangular, built according to the mountain situation, 449 meters long from east to west, 185 meters wide from north to south, with East, North and West gates, and the north gate is a false gate. The city wall is 8.5 meters high. It is made of stone, brick, lime and rammed earth. There are crenels and lookouts on the city wall, and two beacon towers on the south wall. Only part of the south wall and the west gate tower, Ming Dynasty stone Range Rover monument.
