Yunshuiyao ancient town is an ancient village with a long history. Nanjing changjiao scenic spot has world cultural heritage, guilou, Huaiyuan Lou, the highest and most concentrated ancient banyan trees in the province, a century old street and a thousand year old road. On the Bank of the stream, a group of 13 hundred and thousand year old banyan trees is magnificent. One of the old banyan trees covers an area of 1933 square meters with a length of more than 30 meters. It takes more than 10 adults at the bottom of the trunk to embrace. It is the largest banyan tree found in our province. An ancient cobblestone road under the banyan tree stretches far away. According to research, it is the only way from Changting prefecture (Longyan City) to Zhangzhou prefecture (Zhangzhou City). Beside the ancient road, there is a row of two-story old brick and wood structure houses, which is the old street with hundreds of years of history of changjiao. Most of these old shops still retain the characteristics of wood instead of walls.

The most striking feature of yunshuiyao ancient town is the scattered earth buildings at the foot of the mountain, beside the stream bank and on the fields. There are 53 well preserved Tulou which have been built since the middle of Yuan Dynasty. Besides hegui building, which can be called "the most wonderful building in the world", and Huaiyuan building, which is the most exquisite and well protected double ring round earth building, there are stilted building, bamboo pole building, mansion style earth building and so on.

Transportation of ancient town

By bus

Every day, there are two buses from Xiamen to yunshuiyao ancient town. They leave from Xiamen Hubin south station at 7:10 a.m. or 12:10 p.m. and arrive at yunshuiyao ancient town at about 10:45 a.m. or 15:50 p.m. Xiamen Hubin south station has a shuttle bus to Nanjing every hour. After arriving at Nanjing, you can take Tulou shuttle bus or Tulou taxi to yunshuiyao town directly.

road trip

Xiamen Zhangzhou changes its way to Zhanglong Expressway Nanjing exit niuqitou Nanjing County Nankeng Chuanchang Shuyang Ganfang tunnel. After about two kilometers of the tunnel, turn right, Drive about 800 meters into the market of Shuyang town in Nanjing, cross the trident of the market, turn right according to the instructions, and then drive about 6 kilometers to yunshuiyao ancient town. Tourism precautions

1. Girls had better not wear high heels! Because the ancient plank road of Yunshui ballad is made of cobblestones, it's hard to walk in high heels and it's easy to twist. If you have already worn them, there are slippers to buy there. You can also buy a pair of slippers there!

2. In summer, there are many mosquitoes over there, so it's better for women who love beauty to wear longer clothes. It's a good choice to have a bottle of essential balm or lard. Local people also have to buy it.
