brief introduction
Birds can't build nests, destroy their enemies and feed without vegetation, and the adaptive vegetation condition is a necessary factor for the survival and development of birds. Luanhe estuary wetland has always been a paradise for bird activities, but excessive development and construction, marine fishing, environmental pollution, and poaching have seriously threatened the protection of this area. At present, the Changli government and the Golden Coast nature reserve are making efforts to strengthen the protection of the natural ecological environment of Luanhe estuary in accordance with the World Convention on wetlands, which China joined in 1992, and are preparing to carry out some bird watching tourism activities appropriately.
Current situation of nature reserves
The annual precipitation in the basin decreases from the low mountain and hilly rainy belt in the south of Xinglong and Qinglong in the middle to the two ends. The average annual rainfall of the whole basin (1956-1997) is 563.7mm, with great interannual variation. The difference between the high and low seasons is 1.7-3.5 times. The seasonal distribution is extremely uneven, and the difference is obvious from month to month. Winter accounts for only 1% - 2% of the whole year, spring for 9%, summer for 67% - 76%, and autumn for 11% - 19%. In summer, July and August are the most concentrated, accounting for about 50% - 60% of the whole year. The average annual water surface evaporation is 950-1150 mm.
According to the water quality monitoring data in 1997, the length of the river measured by the chief inspector is 1 633 km. Due to mining and the inflow of urban waste water along the way, 88% of the rivers with water quality assessment above class IV, of which 81% are class V or over class v. Non ionic ammonia and iron have the highest probability of exceeding the standard. According to the analysis of comprehensive pollution degree, 1080km of rivers are evaluated as clean or still clean, accounting for 66% of the total evaluated river length, 245km of rivers are classified as light and medium pollution, accounting for 15%, and 308km of rivers above heavy pollution, accounting for 19%, indicating that most rivers in the whole basin are still relatively clean.
