Shaoshi mountain

Shaoshi mountain, also known as "Jishi mountain", is located in the northwest of Dengfeng City, Henan Province. The mountain is steep and precipitous, with strange peaks everywhere. It is opposite to Taishi mountain in the East, with 36 peaks on it. It is the key scenic spot of Songshan forest park. Yuzhai mountain, the main peak, is 1512 meters above sea level. Shaoshi mountain

To the south of Shaoshi mountain, the mountain looks like the Zhongjing crown worn by the ancients, so it was named "Guanshan" in Song Dynasty.

The mountain is steep, with 36 peaks: liantian, zigai, Yuhua, Baiyun, Yaotang, Zhuojian, crape myrtle, Taiyang, Shaoyang, Ruiying, Tiande, Laixian, Wangluo, qiongbi, Baiyun, dansha, sandalwood, Bailu, Baidao, stalagmite, Shicheng, Lingyin, Qingliang, Baozhu, bowl, Luohan, Xianglu, Zixiao, Cuihua, Jinniu, Yingxia, Chaoyue, Sima Ningbi, Baosheng and Qifo.

The peaks of Shaoshi are surrounded by waves, like banners, like swords and halberds, which are quite spectacular. Some rise from the ground, some meander, some squat like tigers, some dance like lions, some sleep like dragons, and some crawl like turtles. The peaks are uneven, and the canyons crisscross, which is quite magnificent. There is a saying that "Taishi is like Wolong, Shaoshi is like Fengwu".

Liantian peak, also known as jiexinglou, is the highest peak of Songshan Mountain at 1512 meters above sea level. In the north of the mountain, there is Shaolin temple under wuru peak. There is a water tank in the west of yuzhai, which is called "xiaoyinmachi". The water can be used by ten thousand people. It is said that Li Qiyu's uprising in the late Ming Dynasty was stationed here.

Shaolin Temple

Shaoshi Temple
