Geography

Harbour Island

Aotou Bay

Aotou Bay, also known as Yaling Bay. At the junction of Huiyang county and Bao'an County, northwest of Daya Bay. It covers an area of about 39 square kilometers. The original name of yalingwan was changed from near aotouwei in 1987.

Dapeng Ao

Dapeng'ao is located in the southeast of Bao'an county and southwest of Daya Bay. It covers an area of about 17.2 square kilometers. It was named after dapengshan (later renamed as qiniangshan) in the southeast.

Hot pepper

Dalijia, formerly known as Dalijia. It is 30.5 km southeast of Danshui Town, Huiyang County, in the middle of Daya Bay, and 4.7 km southwest of gaoyajiao. It covers an area of 1.8 square kilometers. Sanmen Island

When the tide rises, the open sea current enters the Bay from the East and west sides of the central islands, flows westward to the top of the Bay, forming a counter clockwise circulation; when the ebb tide flows through the east side of the central islands, some flows southward through the Dapengao deep trough, and the ebb tide flows eastward to the top of the Bay, forming a clockwise circulation. The tidal current velocity near Aotou port is 0.2 knots, the maximum is 0.6 knots, hutoumen Canyon is 1.0 knots, Dapengao is 0.8 knots, the maximum is 1.2-1.6 knots. Salinity 28.4-33.3. The sediment concentration in the bay is 4.8 g / m3 and that in the mouth is 4.5 g / m3. The average wave height is 0.5-0.9 m, the annual average temperature is 22 ℃ and the precipitation is 1900 mm.

Water conservancy and aquaculture

The beach on the west side of xiayongwei in the north is wide and the sand is fine and clean.

In May 1993, the State Council approved the establishment of Huizhou Daya Bay (national level) economic and Technological Development Zone, covering an area of 9.98 square kilometers. In March 2006, the State Council approved the expansion to 23.6 square kilometers. The Daya Bay planning area, including the economic and Technological Development Zone, was approved by the people's Government of Guangdong Province in June 1991. It has a land area of 289 square kilometers and a sea area of 1300 square kilometers.

By the beginning of the 21st century, Daya Bay has initially formed a petrochemical industrial zone with automotive electronics as the leading industry, CNOOC refining and chemical as the leading industry, and a Gold Coast Tourism Resort with coastal tourism as the main function. Panda Gold Coast
