Suzhou Dongshan Scenic Area

Suzhou Dongshan, also known as Dongting Dongshan, is located 23.5km southwest of Suzhou city. It is a peninsula extending in Taihu Lake. It is surrounded by water on three sides, with thousands of hectares of lake light, fishing sails and gulls. The territory has beautiful natural scenery and rich products. In spring, a hundred flowers are in full bloom and the tea buds are green; in the Dragon Boat Festival, the loquat forest is green and yellow, and the Myrica rubra branches are luxuriant and strong; in autumn, the orange forest all over the mountains is red from a distance, and the huge fruit trees bend from a close view. In this famous natural scenic spot, green mountains are like walls, and the trees are dense. It's a pleasure to go boating in the lake.

Among them, Sanshan island and Luxiang ancient village are the most famous.

There are various strange stone scenes on Sanshan Island, as well as the Paleolithic site of "Sanshan culture" more than 10000 years ago. The island is full of flowers and fruits all the year round. It is a wonderful place for farmhouse.

In the ancient village of Luxiang, the old streets connected by rafters and eaves are lined up, the old and mottled stone road stretches along the street, and more than 30 buildings of Ming and Qing Dynasties are scattered.

Transportation information: from Suzhou city to Dongshan Town: ① take bus 502 from the railway station to Dongshan (every 20 minutes, 100 minutes, 4 yuan); or take the bus from Wuzhong District bus station to Dongshan Town, 5-10 minutes, 7 yuan. Buses to Dongshan pass Mudu, where tourists can take CMB directly to Dongshan. ② In the peak tourist season of Dongshan Town, there are shuttle buses to and from various scenic spots. Usually, you can only take a motor tricycle, and the starting fee is 5 yuan.

Suzhou downtown to Sanshan Island (the most direct route): take bus No.69 to Xishan shigongshan wharf, and then take a speedboat to Sanshan island; drive to Xishan shigongshan parking lot, park at the specially supervised Wharf (10 yuan / vehicle), and then take a 5-minute speedboat to Sanshan island. However, there is no boat at shigongshan Wharf in Xishan, so we can only let Nongjiale contact in advance. The one-way fare is 100 yuan per boat, and each boat can take up to 10 people.

From Dongshan Town to Luxiang ancient village: ① take the tour minibus around the mountain (the bus is full, driving time is 30 minutes, and the ticket price is 2 yuan). ② take bus No. 500 (the ticket price is 2 yuan) to Luxiang ancient village in Dongshan Town after arriving at Dongshan Station. Note that the bus No. 500 can be divided into two routes: one is via diaohualou, zijin'an, Yangwan, Xuanyuan palace and Luxiang ancient village, the other is via Dongshan Hotel, Qiyuan, Daisong and Luxiang ancient village.

Dongshan Town and Sanshan Island: Dongshan Town Changqi wharf and shatanshan wharf can reach Sanshan Island, among which Changqi wharf has boats and speedboats, and shatanshan wharf only has speedboats. The fare is 15 yuan per person for a 25 minute boat trip, 180 yuan per boat for a speedboat and 25 yuan per person for an individual speedboat. You can sail for 7 people. 20 minutes for a boat, 5-10 minutes for a speedboat.
