Daizongfang

Daizongfang is the gateway of Mount Tai East Road. It is known as Mount Tai first square. It is an ancient archway with four pillars and three rooms, which has many beautiful myths. Daizongfang, as the first mountaineering square, you can climb along the mountaineering route from Houzai gate to the mysterious paradise in the sky. Daizongfang

Daizong square is located in the north of daimiao (the south head of Hongmen Road on the north side of Daizong Street). It is a cross road stone square. Since then, it was built in Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty.

Basic introduction

Daizongfang is built on the platform. It has four pillars and three gates. Its shape is rough and simple. The seal script "daizongfang" has three golden characters, which has the function of symbol guidance. It was rebuilt in 1730. In front of the square, there is the East-West confrontation between "rebuilding the stele of Mount Tai" and "stele of Mount Tai" in the ninth year of Yongzheng.

Both temples were demolished before and after the founding of the people's Republic of China. In 1979, Taian Branch of China International Travel Agency and Taishan Hotel were built on the site.

Fangxi was originally built as a Fengyuan temple. During the reign of Zhenghe in Song Dynasty, it was changed into Shengyuan temple to worship Donghua emperor. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty, the palace was built after it was demolished. The original palace is large-scale, with lush pines and cypresses, lots of strange stones, streams and springs competing for flow, and then abandoned. During the period of the Republic of China, the army stationed many times, the palace was demolished, and the ancient trees were cut down.

In the north is the former site of Yuhuangge and baihequan. The pavilion was built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty to worship the Jade Emperor. Before and after the founding of the people's Republic of China, Qianlong palace and Yuhuang Pavilion were destroyed, and now it is the cadre rest home of Jinan Military Region.

Mount Tai is the only sacred mountain of the five mountains. At the beginning of climbing, there should be a sign to remind people to enter the famous mountain resorts, so that people can narrow their horizons, get rid of distractions and climb Mount Tai as if they were climbing naturally.

The front and back of the four pillars are supplemented by stone pillars. With the help of the background of Mount Tai, the stability of the square is increased.

Legend of daizongfang

According to legend, in order to monopolize Mount Tai, Bixia Yuanjun defeated many opponents in various ways and finally became the leader of Mount Tai. Nevertheless, Bixia Yuanjun is still insatiable. Relying on the power of her father, the Jade Emperor, she constantly expanded her jurisdiction. This aroused the indignation of all the immortals, and everyone went to Jiang Ziya, who was in charge of the power of the gods, to complain.

One day, Jiang Ziya came to Mount Tai with "Fengshenbang" to delimit the jurisdiction of Bixia Yuanjun: from the top of Mount Tai, each tube is 50 Li. Bixia Yuanjun suspected that the ground was small, so he quarreled with Jiang Ziya on the spot.

Jiang Ziya is not angry, good words to advise: "Yuanjun! If you think the ground is small, we can discuss it again! "

"How to discuss it? "Asked Bixia Yuanjun.

Jiang Ziya said leisurely: "you can find something and throw it down the mountain. You can control where it falls. Do you think it's ok? "

Bixia Yuanjun heard, thought: Yes, I put a embroidered shoes down the mountain, a hand, who dare not admit it?! So he took off an embroidered shoe and threw it down the mountain with all his strength. After throwing the embroidered shoes, Jiang Ziya, Bixia Yuanjun and other immortals found the embroidered shoes at the foot of the mountain. I saw that embroidered shoes with the top, head down to insert on the ground, the shape of a small square door. When they calculate the mileage, it's only 20 miles from this place to the top. At this time, Bixia Yuanjun just know Jiang Ziya's plan, but it's not easy to turn back, so he has to acquiesce.

Later, people built a square gate here, named daizongfang, which became the starting point of climbing Mount Tai. At the foot of Mount Tai, anyone who climbs from Beiguan in Tai'an must take this place as the starting point to climb up.
