Landmark building
Guangyunmen
Guangyunmen is the main entrance of Xi'an World Horticultural Exposition. It is located in the northeast of Xi'an World Horticultural Exposition. It spans the 60 meter wide Expo Avenue and can pass more than 20000 people per hour during the peak period. The ramp composed of step, waterscape and square gardening flowers connects the up and down, and integrates with Changan Flower Valley, forming a strong shock effect with its magnificent momentum. As the starting point of the whole landscape park, the gate is permeated with design elements reflecting green gardening color, such as planting, Waterscape, etc. The building structure is reinforced concrete structure, but the material selection is decorated with natural wood and regional granite, and Chinese elements are also cleverly interspersed.
Chang'an tower
Located on xiaozhongnan mountain, the commanding height of Xi'an World Horticultural Exposition Park, Chang'an tower is not only the symbol of the world horticultural exposition, but also the observation tower of the park. Visitors can climb the tower to have a panoramic view of the whole park. The design maintains the charm of the square Pagoda in Sui and Tang Dynasties, and adds modern elements. It not only reflects the connotation of Chinese architectural culture, but also shows the fashionable and modern urban style. It is the practice and demonstration of ecological architecture, and will become a landmark building to enhance the connotation of urban architectural culture in Xi'an. The whole tower adopts advanced internal steel frame supporting structure, and the roof and all overhanging eaves adopt safety glass, which together with the glass curtain wall of the wall form the effect of crystal tower. The shape of Chang'an pagoda has the characteristics of the traditional wooden pagoda of the Tang Dynasty: one layer of overhanging eaves and one layer of seats on top, which are full of rhythm. The size of overhanging eaves on each floor is wide and upward, which reflects the far-reaching characteristics and style of the eaves of the wooden structure buildings in the Tang Dynasty. The combination of metal components between eaves and column head is the abstraction and generalization of traditional architecture eaves bucket arch system. The glass curtain wall retreats to the inner side of the outer trough column and is fixed with the column and beam through the glass rib. A series of treatments make the architecture of Tang style and Tang rhyme full of modern sense. A large number of steel structures and related components are used in Chang'an tower, which is known as the "green building" in the 21st century. In order to show the inclusiveness and profundity of Chinese civilization, hundreds of precious cultural relics and contemporary art treasures are exhibited in Chang'an tower. There are ten groups of national treasure level cultural relics from Zhou, Qin, Han, Northern Zhou, Sui and Tang Dynasties, including bronze, stone, mud, pottery and other materials, as well as casting, gilding, gilding, pastel, Tang tricolor and other crafts. In response, contemporary works of art also cover bamboo carving, nuclear carving, ceramics, glass, gold carving, stone and other materials, techniques, authors and collections Home comes from China, Japan, South Korea, Europe, America and all over the world.
Creative Museum
The creative Pavilion is located on the main axis of Xi'an World Horticultural Exposition. The whole pavilion is designed in combination with the wharf and surrounding sites. The architectural layout is in the shape of "King", which is composed of three wings of irregular geometry. The irregular connection of different finishes, such as bronze metal, stone and garden style planting roof, has formed the artistic effect of scattered and rich connotation. The building is naturally divided into three relatively independent exhibition areas extending to the water surface, which are connected through the transverse passage. Visitors can access the roof viewing platform through a series of indoor display ramps. The main body of the structure adopts the form of reinforced concrete combined with steel structure, and the roof uses the concrete folded plate structure to meet the needs of the building for large-span space. The beautiful structural form reflects the highest level of architectural art combining function and form. The facade of the building is made of bronze and glass. The unique shape of the building is like a bronze work of art inlaid with diamonds standing by the lake. The exhibition hall is divided into six exhibition areas: preface hall, plant factory, horticultural era, dream square, home of plants, and journey of life on earth. The exhibition will display blue rose, gold rose, fragrant rose, Earl Eve, black rose, rainbow rose, 360 ° dome image, soilless cultivation, organic agriculture and other new achievements, new products, and environmental protection and energy saving technologies of garden gardening and plant flowers New materials.
Nature Museum
The nature museum is the plant greenhouse of Xi'an World Horticultural Exposition. It is located on the Bank of Jinxiu lake. The semi buried underground facade materials are glass, wood and a small amount of concrete. It is built against the mountain and overlaps in layers. It is perfectly combined with the terrain. That is to say, the volume of the building is weakened from the height and vision, so that you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the lake and the Garden opposite from different elevations. The plants in the natural museum are distributed in many layers. The upper layer likes light and the lower layer likes light and half shade. There are small trees and shrubs. This kind of hierarchical design is called "niche", which can reduce the mortality of plants in the embassy. The nature museum is divided into tropical rain forest plant exhibition area, extremely cold plant exhibition area and endemic plant exhibition area. It mainly displays more than 530 rare plants and ecological landscapes in different regions and climate zones of the earth.
