School predecessor

Dali Medical College

In September 1982, Dali Medical College was established.

In August 1987, Dali Medical College obtained the right to confer bachelor's degree.

In 1997, he successfully passed the undergraduate teaching qualification assessment of the former State Education Commission.

Dali Teachers College

In 1977, Kunming Normal University (Dali ordinary class) was founded.

In 1978, Kunming Normal University (Dali ordinary class) was transformed into Xiaguan normal college.

In 1984, Xiaguan teachers college was renamed Dali teachers college.

In 1992, Dali Teachers College changed its name to Dali teachers college.

In 2001, Dali teachers college was abolished.

Integration of the two schools

In October 2001, with the approval of the Ministry of education, Dali Medical College and Dali Teachers College were merged to form Dali College; the people's Government of Yunnan Province decided to merge Dali polytechnic school and Dali branch of Yunnan Radio and TV University into Dali College.

In 2003, Dali University obtained the right to confer master's degree.

In 2008, he got excellent conclusions in the undergraduate teaching level evaluation organized by the Ministry of education.

In 2008, the third people's Hospital of Yunnan Province was incorporated into Dali University. In June 2008, it was officially listed as Kunming Affiliated Hospital of Dali University.

On March 17, 2008, "the Fourth People's Hospital of Yunnan Province" was added to the Affiliated Hospital of Dali University.

In April 2010, it was rated as "National Graduate Employment typical experience university" by the Ministry of education.

In May 2013, the first batch of Pilot Universities of clinical medicine master degree training mode reform.

In 2014, the training base for clinical pharmacists of national health and Family Planning Commission was opened in Kunming affiliated hospital.

In 2014, it was approved as the construction unit of the second batch of national theory and policy research base of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission.

In 2015, it was awarded "national civilized unit".

On April 29, 2015, the Ministry of Education issued the letter of the Ministry of education on Approving the name change of Dali University as Dali University (JFH No. 67), and the University officially changed its name as Dali University.

Journal of Dali teachers college was founded in 1980 and Journal of Dali Medical College was founded in 1982. In 2002, Dali Medical College and Dali Teachers College were merged to form Dali University. The two journals were merged and renamed as journal of Dali teachers college. The issue was bimonthly. In 2006, it was changed to monthly. The publishing mode of social science, natural science and medicine was adopted. Journal of Dali University is an excellent social science journal in China.
