It was built at the end of Ming Dynasty, rebuilt many times in Jiaqing and Guangxu years of Qing Dynasty, and replaced the roof and gray tiles of Meng ancestral hall. The main building is the main hall of Meng's family temple, covering an area of 76 square meters. The courtyard is 27 meters long from north to South and 14 meters wide from east to west, covering an area of about 380 square meters. The main gate stands from the north to the south, and there are side gates on both sides. The main gate is about 5 meters high and 3.6 meters deep. The plaque of "Meng's family temple" is hanging on the top of the main gate. There are stone lions on both sides of the main gate, and there are two kisses on the eaves of the main gate and the side gate. The building is a northern blue brick and grey tile building with single eaves and hard top structure. The center of the roof is baohulu top, and the tail of the two sides is 0.4 meters high. There are four stone columns in front of the building. The beam frame is made succinctly and generously. The structure of the whole building is rigorous, the proportion is appropriate, the style is elegant, and the shape is steady. In recent years, the main hall has been renovated many times, so that it is well preserved. On the East and West Mountains, there are brick carvings. The gate is red, with gold-plated ornaments on it. There is an iron fence in front of it. Inside the wooden fence, there are two rectangular door pillows on both sides. At the end of 1990's, it was the latest overhaul. The purlin board was replaced, the beam frame in the house was painted, two stone censers were built on the terrace, and the Meng's youmian stele and Meng's Zhipu stele were copied. The statue of Mencius was destroyed during the "Cultural Revolution". It was rebuilt in 1992 and restored to the original.
