Mentougou Shuanglin Temple

Mentougou Shuanglin temple is located in the mountains northwest of shangqingshui village, Qingshui Town, Mentougou. Because the temple is close to Qingshui River, the ancient temple of Liao Dynasty was named "Qingshui Temple", later renamed Shuanglin temple. It is the lower courtyard of Ruiyun temple in Baihua Mountain, and has been repaired in Jin, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. The main large-scale buildings of the temple have been destroyed in the war. There are only one small hall in the Yuan Dynasty and one in the Ming Dynasty, 3.5 meters square, hanging mountains to adjust the ridge, and brick carvings to kiss. It is a rare building with Yuan Dynasty style in Beijing that beams use forks, which has a place in the history of Beijing architecture. There is also an ancient well under the gully in front of the temple, which has been protected.
