Beijing Badaling National Forest Park is located between the Great Wall Badaling and Juyongguan, with a total area of 44000 mu. Badaling National Forest Park has more than 50000 red leaf trees (Cotinus coggygria), the largest natural clove forest in North China (more than 700 mu), and a large natural wild pear forest in Qinglong valley scenic area.

Animal resources

There are 158 species of animals in the park, including squirrels, hares, pheasants, wild boars, roe deer, raccoon dog tits, crows, blue billed magpies, owls, shrikes and kestrels.

Wanglong terrace

This is the best place to enjoy the magnificent wind of Badaling Great Wall. Experience Center

"China's first railway" - the "herringbone" railway, as well as the ancient Qinglongqiao railway station, the Badaling Forest experience center cooperated by China and South Korea, and the fire watch tower. Badaling Forest experience center covers an area of 450 hectares, which is divided into indoor Experience Hall and outdoor experience route. The building area of the indoor Experience Hall is 856 square meters, with 4 exhibition halls, 1 lecture hall, 1 preface hall, dining room, office, emergency room, etc. The themes of the four exhibition halls are the changes of Badaling forest, Badaling Forest family, forest makes life better and Badaling Forest art research laboratory. A total of 13 exhibition areas and 42 exhibition items are designed.

Self driving line

Starting from Beijing, go to Bajing Tibet expressway. Example: it takes 45 minutes from Madian to Beijing Tibet Expressway to the scenic spot.
