According to Yixing county records: "Xishi cave is also known as Wuling cave." Wuling is the fairyland of Taoyuan described by Tao Yuanming, a scholar of the Six Dynasties. Yaotiaoling cave is deeply hidden in the fairyland of Wuling where "the grass is delicious and the fallen flowers are colorful". The whole cave covers an area of 8500 square meters, with a journey of 1200 meters and nearly 80 scenic spots.
