Former Jilin University
The former Jilin University is a national key comprehensive university directly under the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China. Its predecessor is northeast administrative college. It was founded by the Communist Party of China in Harbin, capital of northeast liberated area, on October 5, 1946. The first president was Lin Feng, chairman of the Northeast administrative committee.
In May 1948, Northeast Institute of administration merged with Harbin University and was renamed northeast Academy of Sciences.
In November 1948, the Northeast Academy of Sciences moved south to Shenyang and was renamed northeast administrative college.
In 1949, it began to recruit graduate students.
In March 1950, northeast administrative college was renamed northeast Renmin University. In June of the same year, the school moved to Changchun.
In 1952, the state adjusted its faculties and departments. A group of well-known scholars from Peking University, Tsinghua University and Yanjing University were transferred in. The University became the first comprehensive university founded by the Communist Party of China after the founding of the people's Republic of China.
In 1952, it began to recruit three-year graduate students.
In 1958, northeast Renmin University was renamed Jilin University.

Former Jilin University of Technology
The predecessor of the former Jilin University of technology is Changchun automobile and tractor college, which was founded in 1954. Rao bin, director of the first automobile factory, was the first president.
In 1955, the major of automobile and internal combustion engine in Huazhong Institute of technology, the major of automobile in Jiaotong University and Shandong Institute of technology were merged by the Ministry of education and the first Ministry of mechanical industry. On September 26, 1955, Changchun automobile and tractor College held the opening ceremony and officially announced its establishment.
In 1958, it was renamed Jilin University of technology.

In September 1998, the former university directly under the Ministry of machinery industry was transferred to the university directly under the Ministry of education.
By June 2000, the university had developed into a multi-disciplinary national key university with the advantages of automobile and agricultural machinery and the combination of engineering, management, science and arts. Former Bethune Medical University
The former Bethune Medical University is a university directly under the Ministry of health. Its predecessor is the health school of Shanxi Chahar Hebei military region and the health school of the 18th army group, which was founded in 1939.
In 1938, the Ministry of health of Shanxi Chahar Hebei Military Region decided to build a health school on the basis of the medical training team of Shanxi Chahar Hebei military region. Norman Bethune was directly involved in the establishment of the school. On September 18, 1939, the health school of Shanxi Chahar Hebei military region was officially established in Tang County, Hebei Province. First President Jiang Yizhen.
In January 1940, in order to study and commemorate Bethune, the school was renamed Bethune school.

In 1949, the school moved to Tianjin and formed Tianjin Military Medical University with Tianjin army general hospital.
In 1951, the University was renamed the First Military Medical University of the Chinese people's Liberation Army.
In February 1954, the first and Third Military Medical Universities merged into the First Military Medical University of the Chinese people's Liberation Army, and then moved to Changchun. In 1958, it was named Changchun medical college.
In June 1959, the school changed its name to Jilin Medical University.
In 1960, the first radiology specialty in China was established.
In 1978, it was restored to Bethune Medical University.
In November 1981, it was approved by the State Council as one of the first batch of doctoral and master degree awarding units in China.
In October 1984, the Fourth Party Congress was held, which determined the development direction of Modern Medical University.
Former Changchun University of science and technology
The former Changchun University of science and technology is subordinate to the Ministry of land and resources, and its predecessor is the Northeast Geological College founded in 1951.
On August 30, 1951, the central government approved the establishment of the Northeast Geological College in Changchun. Li Siguang, chairman of the steering committee of the China geological work plan and vice president of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was the president of the college. On December 1, 1951, Northeast Geological College was officially established.
In 1952, when the national colleges and departments were adjusted, based on the Northeast College of geology, the Northeast College of geology was composed of the Department of Geology and mineralogy of Shandong University, the Department of Geology and physics of Changchun Branch of Northeast Institute of technology.
In January 1957, Northeast Institute of geology was renamed Changchun Institute of geological exploration. In December 1958, it was renamed Changchun Institute of geology.
In February 1979, the Ministry of Education decided Changchun Institute of geology as a national key university.
In May 1984, the College held the Eighth Party Congress, and put forward the development goal of building a comprehensive geological university with geoscience as the center, engineering as the main body, science and engineering as the combination, arts and science as the penetration, and the development of new marginal disciplines.
In December 1996, Changchun Institute of geology was renamed Changchun University of science and technology.

Former Changchun University of Posts and Telecommunications
The former Changchun University of Posts and telecommunications is subordinate to the Ministry of information industry (former Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications). It is the only information and Communication Engineering College in Northeast China. Its predecessor is the Northeast University of Posts and Telecommunications founded in 1947.
On March 10, 1947, according to the instructions of the central government, the Northeast post and Telecommunications Administration established the Northeast post and Telecommunications School in Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province. The first president was Chen Xianzhou, director of the Northeast General Administration of Posts and telecommunications. In the winter of 1947, the school moved to Harbin. In October 1948, he was ordered to move to Changchun.
In March 1949, the Northeast transportation school was established. In September, it was rebuilt into a higher vocational school of Posts and telecommunications in Northeast China.

In March 1973, it was renamed Changchun Telecom school again. In July 1973, it was renamed Changchun post and Telecommunications School.
In January 1979, Changchun University of Posts and telecommunications was transformed into Changchun University of Posts and telecommunications.
Former Quartermaster University of PLA
The former Quartermaster University of the Chinese people's Liberation Army is subordinate to the General Logistics Department. It was rebuilt several times by the veterinary University of the Chinese people's Liberation Army. Its history can be traced back to the Beiyang horse medical school opened by the Qing government in 1904.
On December 1, 1904, Beiyang horse medical school was established in Baoding, Hebei Province. In 1912, it was taken over by the government of the Republic of China and renamed army veterinary school. Later, it moved to Peiping. "September 1st"
