Ya'an Museum
Ya'an museum is located on the Bank of Qingyi River, with a total construction area of 8681 square meters. It was officially opened to the public in December 2010. After the reconstruction and upgrading after the "4.20" disaster, the display function has been greatly improved. It integrates digital means of expression, and presents the history behind the literature to the audience in a multi-dimensional and multi sensory way. At present, there are more than 20000 cultural relics in the collection, which is the only Municipal Museum in Sichuan Province integrating exhibition function and cultural relics Center warehouse.
architectural composition
The museum is divided into central exhibition area, temporary exhibition area, cultural relics Center warehouse and office reception room. The exhibition takes the Southern Silk Road and the ancient tea horse road as the main line to show the precious cultural relics unearthed in Ya'an. There are five exhibition halls in the central exhibition area, including Han Jia verve, Bijiang Tuotu, Han Fengliu quilt, yafengliu verve and biancha Tibetan horse. The contents include Han Dynasty stone carvings, stone tools, bronze ware, pottery, porcelain, seal, calligraphy and painting art and Ya'an biancha historical relics. The exhibition in the museum integrates digital means of expression to present the history behind the cultural relics to the audience in a multi-directional and multi sensory way.
In the "4.20" Lushan strong earthquake, Ya'an Museum civil engineering, exhibition facilities and some cultural relics were damaged to varying degrees. After nearly two years of post disaster reconstruction, reinforcement and maintenance, and the overall promotion of exhibition arrangement, the museum was reopened to the public, and soon became a "cultural center" loved by the public.
Collection
The cultural relics on display in the museum are all exquisite cultural relics unearthed in seven counties and one district of Ya'an, including a group of precious stone carvings of Han Dynasty on the Southern Silk Road, such as Stone Beasts at the gate of Jiangcheng city and stone beasts in front of fan min's tomb, as well as exquisite cultural relics such as ancient Shu bronze and Ming Dynasty terracotta warriors, with a total of nearly 500 pieces. Although they are different in age, size and material, their value is self-evident.
In the museum, a green "underground palace" attracts people to stop. Under a crystal glass floor more than 3 meters wide and more than 4 meters long, a complete prototype of the wooden coffin Tomb of the Han Dynasty lies quietly on the ground. Drops of water falling from the transparent glass floor tell people that the moderate humidity and temperature here can make this precious burial utensil more than 2000 years ago safely preserved.
Ancient Southern Silk Road
The theme outline of the museum is designed by the school of history of Sichuan University and many experts in the province. The museum displays relevant cultural relics through the "ancient Southern Silk Road" and "ancient tea horse road" as the main line.
Treasure of town hall
Ya'an museum also has a cultural relic closely related to Chengdu - "Chengdu spear", which is the treasure of the museum. The bronze spear was found in a boat coffin burial in the late Warring States period, with the word "Chengdu" engraved on the Jiaobu. Before the discovery of this spear, the earliest origin of the title of "Chengdu" was the Western Han Dynasty. The discovery of "Chengdu spear" in the Warring States tomb indicates that there was a saying about "Chengdu" at that time, pushing forward the history of Chengdu for 200 years.
