Erlang Mountain

Erlang mountain, commonly known as Xishan, is also known as "Hump mountain" because it looks like a camel with two humps. It is also known as "Xiaohua mountain in Northern Shaanxi". It is a landmark landscape of Shenmu county. The Kuye River and Tuwei River pass through the front and back of the mountain. All the temple buildings in the mountain are built on the cliffs, which are majestic and spectacular. There are some temple buildings in the mountain, such as the dizangdong grottoes, Baxian cave, Erlang temple complex, daozuo Guanyin hall, etc., which were built in the Ming Dynasty, as well as the Notre Dame hall built in the Qing Dynasty and the haoranting Grottoes built in the Anti Japanese period. Erlang Mountain has a strong religious atmosphere. Every year, the traditional temple fairs on the eighth day of the first lunar month, the eighth day of the fourth lunar month, and the 22nd of June are full of pilgrims.
