Wujinshan National Forest Park is located in the West foot of Taihang Mountain. The terrain is high in the north and low in the south. There are many mountains in the park. The altitude is 1200-1489 meters. There are 30000 mu of natural forest, dense pines and cypresses, thick vegetation, white pines, Platycladus orientalis, Pinus tabulaeformis and peculiar canopy.
Wujinshan National Forest Park
Wujinshan National Forest Park is located 17 kilometers north of Yuci and 22 kilometers east of Taiyuan. The geographical coordinates of the center are 112 ° 46 ′ 24 "and 37 ° 51 ′ 36" north latitude. It is composed of Wujin mountain (also known as Longwang mountain), Dahong mountain, Zijin Mountain, Zhonglin mountain and Mingzhu lake. The total area is 55000 mu, the forest area is 31000 mu, and the forest coverage rate is more than 80%.
Historical evolution
From 500 to 900 BC, Wujinshan temple was built in Sui and Tang Dynasties, which has a history of more than 1400 years.
Wujinshan National Forest Park was opened to the public in 2007.

Regional mountains
Wujinshan National Forest Park is 25 km long from east to west and 9 km wide from north to south
Yaoluo mountain: it is located 0.3km East by north of yaoluo village, with an altitude of 1342m. The mountain trend is northeast southwest.
Zijin Mountain: it is located at the junction of Yuci and Shouyang, 2.8 kilometers northwest of yaoluo village, with an altitude of 1335 meters. The mountain trend is northeast southwest.
Egg Nao: it is located 2.8 kilometers south of Zijin East, with an altitude of 1311 meters. The mountain trend is northeast southwest.
Dahong mountain: also known as Hongsha mountain or Siao, is located 2 kilometers north of the east of Wujin mountain, with an altitude of 1277 meters and a north-south trend.
Wujin mountain: also called Longwang mountain. It is located 1.5km northeast of Pingdiquan, 1489.2m above sea level, and the mountain trend is north-south.
Mantou mountain: located 2km to the north of Wujin mountain, it is named because the mountain shape is similar to Mantou. It is 1350m above sea level, and the mountain trend is northwest southeast.
Goutou mountain: it is located 0.5km north of Mantou mountain. It is named because it looks like a dog's head. It is 1388m above sea level and moves north and south.
Xianfeng mountain: it is located 1 km southwest of Mantou mountain, with an altitude of 1347 meters. It goes to the Northeast southwest with steep peaks. There are zhaibi ruins on it. It was also called Zhaishan in ancient times as a place to avoid soldiers.
Mengliang mountain: it is located in the north of the west of Wujin, 2km east of Pingdi spring, with an altitude of 1333m and a north-south trend. It is said that in the Northern Song Dynasty, Yang Yanzhao stationed Meng Liang in this area.
Conch mountain: it is named for its conch shape. It is located 1.2km northwest of Dayukou and runs north-south.
Crouching Tiger Mountain: it is named for crouching tiger. It is located between jielingshi and chongyaoliang, with an altitude of 1264 meters. It is a famous ancient battlefield with the trend of North-South and dangerous situation.
Tu'er mountain: located 2 kilometers south of Wohu mountain, with an altitude of 1255.6 meters, it is northeast southwest trending, with grotesque rocks and steep peaks.
Zhonglin mountain: located 1 km south of Jieling stone, 1271 meters above sea level, southeast northwest trend, dangerous situation, for military.
It is composed of 25 mountains. Among the mountains, Wujin mountain is the highest (1489.2 meters above sea level). The lowest is sigoukou at the foot of Zhonglin mountain (954.1 meters above sea level). The relative elevation difference is 535.1 meters, which makes Wujin mountain form a meandering trend, with overlapping peaks, winding ups and downs, vast forest sea and bright mountains. It is a natural barrier to the north of Yuci.
Geology and geomorphology
Wujin mountain is high in the north and low in the south, which is composed of moderately cut bedrock mountain and earth rock mountain. The main rocks are gray sandstone, purple red and gray green shale formed in Permian and Carboniferous of Paleozoic, accounting for 87% of the total area. Zhonglinshan, Wujinshan and Dahongshan to the north of Jianhe are mostly gray sandstones of upper and Lower Shihezi Formation and Taiyuan Formation of Permian. Zijinshan to the east of Jianhe is the purple red sand shale of Shiqianfeng Formation of Permian. The Loess covered in some areas is leached cinnamon soil, cinnamon soil and stone soil developed from sand shale parent material and loess parent material, accounting for 13% of the total area. The geological changes hundreds of millions of years ago have resulted in today's magnificent scenery of Wujin mountain, which is full of mountains, ravines, forest waves and purple air.
Ecoclimate
Due to its high altitude, Wujin mountain has a maximum altitude of nearly 1500 meters. According to the data of Yuci meteorological department, the annual average temperature in Wujin mountain is 9.8 ℃. The average temperature in summer (July) is 23.6 ℃, and that in winter (December) is - 4.8 ℃, which is 3 ~ 5 ℃ lower than that in Yuci Taiyuan. The frost free period in a year is 120-144 days, the annual average precipitation is 440 mm, and the annual relative humidity is 8%. The rainfall in a year is mainly concentrated in July, August and September, accounting for 68.5% of the annual precipitation. These data prove that Wujin mountain has a cool climate and fresh air, which is worthy of being a famous summer resort in Central Shanxi.

Botany
Wujin mountain has typical vegetation characteristics of Taihang Mountain in North China. There are more than 480 species, including more than 330 plant species. Among them, Pinus bungeana is a national second-class protected tree species, Sabina vulgaris is a rare tree species, Tilia amurensis, Magnolia Benthami is a rare tree species, and Phaseolus chinensis is an endangered tree species.

Main attractions
Wujinshan National Forest Park has rich historical and cultural heritage. It has a deep historical origin with Mount Wutai, the holy land of Buddhism. It is known as the lower house of Mount Wutai and the ashram of Manjusri. Many Temple communities, such as crystal courtyard Temple group, Dragon King Temple group, Taiqing Palace temple group, big Buddha platform, Jiufeng tower, are built close to the mountain.

Rain in Hanshan mountain
Hanshan Shiyu, also known as Zhufeng Shiyu, is the first of the eight ancient scenic spots in Yuci, which is recorded in the old county annals of Yuci. Wujin mountain, formerly known as Longwang mountain, is the hinterland of Hanshan mountains.
Sunrise in the forest
Sunrise in forest sea is another wonder of Wujin mountain. The best place to watch the sunrise in Linhai is crystal courtyard, where the terrain is high, and there are tens of thousands of mu of green pine forest.

Linhai Tingtao Scenic Spot is located in Tianyuan Valley in the east of crystal courtyard. Tianyuan Valley is deep and steep with high trees and dense forests. Mountain wind from the edge of the sky into the mouth of the valley, winding along the valley, converging into a strong airflow.
Jade Emperor Pavilion
Yuhuang Pavilion originally refers to the landscape of Yuhuang Pavilion in crystal courtyard. The original Jade Emperor pavilion was built on the top of the mountain to the north of the crystal courtyard. If visitors want to visit the Jade Emperor in the Jade Emperor Pavilion, they must first climb 33 steps, so it is said that "the Jade Emperor of 33 days".
Tibetan lion cave
The ancient Tibetan lion cave is located under the west wall of crystal courtyard in Wujin mountain. It is a natural stone cave. It is said that Wujin mountain is the lower courtyard of Wutai Mountain, and crystal courtyard is the ashram of Manjusri Bodhisattva. Manjusri traveled between Mt. Wutai and Mt. Wujin, often with a lion.
Purple meteorite
Ziqi meteorite is located in the East Tianyuan valley of Wujinshan crystal courtyard. The stone is about 7 meters long, 6 meters wide and 2.5 meters high. It is said that it is the stone left by Nu Wa to mend the sky.
Hongshan waterfall
In a gorge to the east of Shousi temple in Dahongshan Town, there is a waterfall that has not dried up for a thousand years. It is called Hongshan waterfall, which is a great landscape of Wujin mountain.
Colorful quicksand
The seven color quicksand landscape is located in Beiliang of Dahong mountain, where there are seven color sandstones of white, gray, blue, green, red, yellow and purple. Longquan reflects the moon
Longquan yingyue is a story about Longquan in front of Baiyun cave in crystal courtyard. It is said that after the crystal courtyard was built by the hand chopping monk, the clear spring was built into a well for monks to drink. The well was named Longwang mountain (Wujin mountain), so the well was named "Longquan". Every moonlit night, a bright moon is reflected in the well, and the calm water surface shows the wonderful scene of bright moon mountain trees and Dragon carving on the eaves of the cave, so it is called "dragon spring reflecting the moon". Later generations listed it as one of the eight old scenes of Wujin mountain.
Cascading waterfall and flying spring
Diebao Feiquan landscape is located on the East Cliff of crystal courtyard. The crystal courtyard is built according to the mountain situation. Under the east mountain wall of the courtyard is a cliff. A huge stream of water gushed from the East Cliff of the crystal courtyard and flew down the seven steps.

Giant stone footprints
