In the Qing Dynasty, it was a necessary place for Hohhot to travel to Outer Mongolia and an important material distribution center behind Daqingshan. Therefore, the temple is famous
Puhui Temple
Puhui temple is located in wulantugsumu (township) of Darhan maoming'an United banner. The Xilamulun river flows through the north of the temple. In Mongolian, it is called Xila mulunzhao, called Zhaohe temple. It was built in 1769, and has been repaired many times. The existing buildings include Mountain Gate, main hall, East and West rooms.
brief introduction
Puhui temple was first built in 1636 (the first year of Chongde, the ninth year of Chongzhen). It was under the banner of Neizhi. It was under the control of Duzhi (also known as the system of general manager) and was directly under the control of the Li Fan yuan of the Qing Dynasty. In order to thank the imperial court, the sixth living Buddha built a Buddhist temple on the Bank of the Xilamuren river with the money he brought from Outer Mongolia. It was completed in 1769. Emperor Qianlong named Puhui temple and inscribed a plaque for it in Manchu, Han, Mongolian and Tibetan characters. This temple is the Zhaohe temple that has been preserved to this day. Later, Puhui Temple became the summer call of xilituzhao. After the sixth living Buddha xilituzhao built a "Puhui Temple" on the Bank of the Xilamuren River, all the herdsmen in the area of the Zhaohe river became Temple herdsmen, which was called "black apprentice". At that time, the military and political power all belonged to the temple, forming the ruling pattern of the integration of politics and religion. Xi Litu called the great Lama of zasak to take charge of all the power and all the affairs of hiramuren. One hundred herdsmen in Xilamuren were divided into eight ten households and eight darigas were selected. Another two Zaisang were assigned to manage four darigas in the East and four darigas in the West. The lamas in the temple have distinct levels, mainly including the great Lama of zasak, the great demuqi, the demuqi, and the gesigui.
Mandula port was approved by the people's Government of the autonomous region as a second-class port for seasonal opening to the outside world in 1992, and was opened for the first time on December 23, 2002. Since 2004, the annual opening hours are from 16 to 30 in March, may, August and November. In February 2009, the State Council agreed to open the port of mandura to the outside world. The port is a road passenger and freight transport port open to both sides in season. In the same year, the port of mandura began to temporarily open and import Mongolian mineral products. At the third and fourth round of department and bureau level meetings on the implementation of the agreement on border ports and their management system between China and Mongolia held in 2011 and 2012, China and Mongolia agreed to expand the mandura Hangji port into a bilateral perennial open port.
Meaning of name
When you enter the Xilamuren grassland by car, you must have noticed at first sight that there is an ancient temple in the large Mongolian yurt community. That's Puhui temple.
The reason why Xilamuren is called "Zhaohe" is that there is "Puhui Temple", a magnificent ancient grassland temple, built on the Bank of Xilamuren river. "Zhao" of "Zhao River" means "Temple" in Mongolian.
Among Mongolian herdsmen, the worship of Buddhism once reached a very pious level. Yao Yuanzhi, a man of the Qing Dynasty, wrote in his annotation of the bamboo branch CI outside the great wall that the Mongolians "would be so devoted to the earth when they saw the Lama as to worship the Buddha.". At the end of the day, the top of his head was on his side, while the Lama put his hand on the top, both men and women. It is said that there are five Buddhas in its five fingers. " His poems are as follows:
Xianqin and Xianqin are lamas,
He worships the cassock in five ways.
It's very arrogant and expensive,
Where is the Buddha.
"The first thing to look at is the scenery, the first thing to look at is the temple." In the history of China, all religious temples are located in beautiful places. Puhui temple is no exception.
legend
First of all, let's introduce some legends about Puhui temple.
Herdsmen living in the Xilamuren grassland, especially the descendants of the people who were brought by the sixth living Buddha of xilituzhao (i.e. "Xili Albin dariga"), have a special feeling for Puhui temple. They revered agawang laobushengdawa, the sixth living Buddha of xilituzhao, the builder of Puhui temple, as their "true God". Therefore, there are many folk legends about the sixth living Buddha, which continue to spread today.
Legend one
The first legend is that in the 1860s, after the death of the fifth living Buddha of xilituzhao, the great Lama of xilituzhao personally went to Tibet to ask for the reincarnation place of the sixth living Buddha. The Banchan Erdeni, one of the two living Buddhas of the Gelug Sect (yellow sect) of Tibetan Lamaism, indicated that he was in the outer kalka Mongolian area. The lamas of xilituzhao thought that it was very difficult to welcome the sixth living Buddha in the vast area of outer kalka Mongolia. But the God promised that they would find it. So the lamas, together with the deities, rode on camels, with tents and food, and trekked to the Inner Mongolia of outer kharka.
One day, walking near a palace, the God said, "the living Buddha is reincarnated in this palace." The lamas set up their tents and sent the living Buddha's book to the king.
Wang Ye felt very embarrassed when he saw the book because he had only such a son. If they were asked to become living Buddhas, no one would inherit his huge family fortune. However, it is an honor for the living Buddha to be born in his home, so it is hard for him to refuse. After thinking about it, Wang Ye thought of a way. He wanted to gather 100 boys of the same age to let the lamas identify them. The lamas did not dare to answer, so they discussed with the God. "God said:" you should bear down, when I give the mark, guarantee will not admit wrong
After the two sides agreed on the trick, the royal family immediately sent out an invitation to invite the lamas to the banquet. He gave 100 children the same clothes and hats for lamas to recognize.
The lamas walked one by one in front of the children. Suddenly, a big mosquito flew for a while and landed on a child's head. They immediately kowtowed to the child and repeatedly said that they had found the living Buddha.
This child is the son of the Lord.
After such identification, the Lord could not refuse, but he asked to allocate a piece of grassland near the outer kharka Mongolia, and the Lord's house would pay for the construction of a temple as a place where living Buddhas often live. He also accompanied ruogan head, a livestock, to graze on the grassland as a source of livelihood for the followers of the living Buddha. In this way, it is also for the people of the Lord's residence to visit their living Buddha.
The lamas accepted the request and applied to tumed banner. With the approval of the long live Lord, they allocated the grassland north of Daqingshan and around Xilamuren River to xilituzhao. This land is called "shebingdi".
Later, the sixth living Buddha built "Hou Xi Li Tu Zhao" on this grassland, which was named "Puhui Temple" by the long live Lord of the current Dynasty.
Legend 2
The second folklore is derived from the story of LAN Qi Er GE's marrying Gerdan.
It is said that when Emperor Kangxi, the long live Lord of the current Dynasty, learned that the power of gardan, the leader of the Junggar tribe, had greatly increased and invaded the grassland, he intended to appease him and let him come to Beijing to meet him. Gardan claimed that he did not want to see any emperor, but sent messengers. In fact, he disguised himself as an entourage and went to the palace. When Kangxi summoned the messengers, he saw the beautiful LAN Qi'er Ge. Before long, gardan sent a letter to Emperor Kangxi. If he agreed to marry LAN qi'erge to him, he would bow to his throne. Emperor Kangxi was faced with more serious war at that time. In order to appease Gerdan temporarily, he married his favorite daughter LAN Qi'er to Gerdan.
After Emperor Kangxi calmed down the rebellion in San Francisco, sent troops to wipe out the Zheng family in Taiwan, counterattacked the invasion of the Tsarist Empire, and expelled the Russian troops stationed in yakesha, he was very angry at the crime of insurrecting against the Tsarist Empire and attacking the Mongols in galdanlitong, and decided to launch a crusade.
After gaining LAN Qi'er, the ambitious Gerdan still did not have the slightest convergence, and then wantonly attacked Inner Mongolia, Tibet and other regions, killing everywhere, killing innocent people.
Emperor Kangxi led the army to march from the capital to the West. In the end, he wiped out the rebel forces in gardan and killed himself.
Poor LAN Qi'er, with her son under eight years old, escorts Gerdan's body and prepares to return to the tribe. There are few people to follow. How sad!
Finally one day, LAN Qi'er and his party came to the Xilamuren grassland. Here, there are abundant water and grass, flocks of cattle and sheep, and people are very popular. The horse holding the body of gardan screamed a few times and did not want to leave again. LAN Qi'er thought that this is a treasure land of geomancy. The spirit of gardan must like this place, so bury the old man here!
But at that time, gardan was a sinner of the imperial court, and he couldn't do anything extravagant. So, the poor woman simply buried gardan's body by the river hiramuren.
Nine times out of ten, this tomb is the king's tomb one kilometer southwest of today's Zhaohe (Xilamuren) town. This is the later words, press do not mention.
After burying her husband's remains and taking her husband's orphans, LAN Qi'er leaves hiramuren far away and returns to the hometown where she raised her husband, concentrating on raising her beloved son.
Long live Kangxi destroyed Gerdan, but he was still very concerned about LAN Qi'er's fate. It is also predestined that the fifth living Buddha of Xi Li Tuzhao has passed away. Where should the sixth living Buddha be reincarnated? Hooray
