Hebei art museum

Hebei art museum is a professional organization engaged in art creation, art theory research and professional training. With a construction area of 5300 square meters, it holds theme and personal art exhibitions throughout the year. In May 2009, Hebei Provincial Art Museum was officially designated as a national second-class Museum by the State Administration of cultural relics.

Hebei art museum is located in Huaian East Road, opposite to the north gate of Century Park, covering an area of 16 mu. With the care and support of the provincial Party committee and the provincial government, more than 9 million yuan has been invested. The construction started on October 18, 2004, and has been officially completed and put into use.

The office building, exhibition hall, painting academy and painter's dormitory of the Academy cover an area of 1.1 hectares, with a construction area of 5300 square meters. The 4000 square meter exhibition hall of Hebei painting academy can hold large-scale domestic and international art exhibitions

Significance of venues

The completion and opening of Hebei art museum is not only a major event in the cultural life of our province, but also an important project in the cultural infrastructure construction of the provincial capital. It provides a platform and space for artists in our province to display their labor achievements, publicize Yanzhao culture, and strengthen cultural and artistic exchanges with foreign countries. The newly-built art museum is mainly composed of exhibition hall, gallery, academic lecture hall and training hall, with a construction area of 2600 square meters and an exhibition line of 500 meters, which can meet the needs of receiving national single art exhibition.
