On the day of Kaiguang, 70000 compatriots boarded the bridge
In Hangzhou, Lingyin Temple presented the "homologous bridge" as a symbol of peaceful exchanges between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait to Taiwan's Zhongtai Buddhist temple, which aroused strong resonance among the people on both sides of the Strait.
On December 22, 2007, the grand meeting of praying for peace was solemnly held. So far, Zhu Bingren's heartfelt wish of caring for the people's livelihood and praying for peace was finally fulfilled.
On that day, 70000 Taiwanese people boarded the copper bridge with great interest.
The mood of a child on both sides of the Strait
As early as 2004, Zhu Bingren personally planned and designed China's first copper bridge, and intended to present it to the people of Taiwan as a golden bridge for cross-strait communication.
Under the attention and deployment of the central and provincial leaders, four years later, Zhu Bingren redesigned the same bridge and presented it to Taiwan's Zhongtai Buddhist temple as a gift from Lingyin Buddhist temple. The bridge is 9.8 meters long, 2.2 meters wide and weighs 8 tons.
On December 22, 2007, the world-famous bridge giving ceremony was held in Taiwan's Zhongtai Chan temple. Director Ye Xiaowen of the State Administration of religion, elder Wei Jue of the temple and honorary chairman of the Kuomintang Lien Chan attended the ceremony, which became a grand event for the Buddhist circles and local people on both sides of the Strait.
The origin of the incident
As early as 2003, Zhu Bingren considered to do something for cross-strait peace. He realized that the most important thing between the two sides of the Strait is communication and exchange. Therefore, he designed the first copper bridge in history, expressing the wish of a mainland artist to give a copper bridge to Taiwan compatriots. After four years of efforts, the Golden Bridge of cross-strait communication, named "homologous bridge", broke through the blockade and was presented to Taiwan's Zhongtai Temple by Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou at the end of 2007.
The grand opening ceremony was held in the famous ancient temple Zhongtai Chan temple. It was presided over by elder weijue of Zhongtai Chan temple, elder Yicheng, President of China Buddhist Association, Ye Xiaowen, President of China Religious Exchange Association, master Xuecheng, Secretary General of China Buddhist Association, and Lian Zhan, honorary chairman of Kuomintang. This is the first bridge across the Taiwan Strait in Chinese history, and also a witness of the friendship and brotherhood of the people on both sides of the Strait. The successful realization of cross-strait non-governmental exchanges.
On December 28, 2009, Mr. Lien Chan, honorary chairman of the Taiwan Nationalist Party, cordially met with Master Zhu Bingren. He spoke highly of Master Zhu Bingren's achievements and initiatives from building a homologous bridge to actively carrying out exchanges with Taiwan's cultural and art circles in various aspects and fighting for cross-strait peace. At the same time, chairman Lian wrote an inscription: "master Bingren excels nature." When meeting with Master Zhu Bingren, elder weijue of Zhongtai Zen temple said, "you have made a good homologous bridge! It brings hope to cross-strait peace, and communication and peace are also the hope of the Taiwan people. "
Special honor award
In December 2008, Zhu Bingren won a special honor award for the "homologous bridge" created for Taiwan's Zhongtai Zen temple. This is the first award specially set up for a work in the history of China Arts and crafts masters' works and international arts and crafts exposition.
After four years of hard work, the opportunity is ripe, and in December 2007, Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou presented Taiwan's Zhongtai Zen temple to the audience. It was broadcast live all over the world, and CCTV broadcast the grand occasion of the ceremony.
As a result, the Organizing Committee of the conference has carefully studied and decided to set up a new award, namely the special contribution award, for this exquisite work of art spanning the harmonious communication between the two sides of the Strait. Zhu Bingren said excitedly after learning that he was very grateful for the award given by the organizing committee. It is a great honor and pleasure for my work to contribute to the promotion of cross-strait exchanges.
Shanhua Award
On September 8, 2009, at the near end of the Fifth China Folk Art Expo, a piece of exhibition work attracted everyone's attention, and finally competed for the national prize -- the "mountain flower Award" of Chinese folk art. It is a homologous bridge designed by Zhu Bingren, a master of Chinese arts and crafts. It takes Yongjin bridge (designed by Zhu Bingren), the first copper bridge in China, as the prototype and is recreated according to the traditional concept of Buddhist culture. 108 Arhats are carved on the bridge railing. The bridge deck is a lotus in full bloom. On the copper bridge, there is a large gilded character "homologous bridge" inscribed by Mr. Zhao Puchu. On the inside, there are poems written by elder weijue of Zhongtai Chan temple and elder Muyu of Lingyin Chan temple. Four bronze paintings are carved around the bridge, including Sun Moon Lake in Taiwan, Zhongtai Chan temple, West Lake in Hangzhou and Lingyin Chan temple. Buddhist artists from Taiwan have come to Hangzhou to cooperate and participate in the pattern design, making the copper bridge the crystallization of the joint creation of artists from both sides of the Strait.
The copper bridge technology integrates almost all the copper arts and crafts, such as copper casting, copper forging, copper carving, copper carving and copper inlaying. Homologous bridge is not only a practical landscape architecture, but also the most exquisite contemporary bronze art.
