On both sides of the lecture hall, there are two rooms, teaching room and semi learning room, which are used to be homes for teachers and students. In the past, students spent a lot of time studying by themselves here. The academy has a long history of jianzhai. Since the ninth year of Kaibao (976) of song Taizu, 52 Zhai houses have been built. The existing buildings were rebuilt in 1903 when the school was changed. They were named teaching Zhai and banxuezhai to meet the needs of teaching and office work. " The name of "xuexuezhai" comes from the book of rites, Xueji, and the name of "banxuezhai" comes from Shangshu shuomingxia
