Cimu bridge belongs to the green water recreation area of Taroko National Park. It is made of Dali stone, a special product of Hualien. On the east side of the bridge is a pavilion for loving mother built by former President Jiang Gong in memory of Mrs. Wang Tai. With its traditional Chinese style design, Cimu bridge has become one of the most attractive bridges in Zhongheng highway. It is said that there was a young man who was washed away by the flood, but his mother was still here every day to watch his son return early. After being deeply moved, people named the bridge "Cimu bridge".
Cimu Bridge
The Cimu bridge in Hualien County, Taiwan, is located at the intersection of Liwu River and Pengxi River. Many buildings in this scenic area are built with Dali stone, the specialty of Hualien. There is a Cimu Pavilion on the east side of the bridge. The design of Cimu bridge follows the traditional Chinese architectural style, with a giant lion at the end of the bridge.
