It is mainly distributed in Qujiawan area of Honghu City and Zhoulaozui area of Jianli County, Hubei Province. At the beginning of 1928, he long and Zhou Yiqun were sent by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to mobilize the masses in Western Hunan and Hubei, launched a struggle, and led the riots on both sides of the Jingjiang River. In August 1930, the general headquarters of the second Red Army Corps and the Western Union County government were stationed in Zhoulaozui. In July 1930, the second and sixth armies of the red army joined forces in Gongan County to form the Second Corps of the Red Army. In April 1931, the central sub Bureau of Western Hunan and Hubei and the Soviet government of Western Hunan and Hubei United County moved from anqiao village to Qujiawan. On June 15, the central temporary Provincial Committee of Western Hunan and Hubei was established. In late July, the Yangtze River levee burst and Qujiawan was flooded. The leading organs of the Western Hunan and Hubei base moved to Zhoulaozui. On December 11 of the same year, the Soviet government of Western Hunan and Hubei Province was established in Zhoulaozui. In January 1932, the Hunan Hubei Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China was established. In March of the same year, the party and government organs of Western Hunan and Hubei Province moved to Qujiawan, and Qujiawan and Zhoulaozui became the center of the base area. In 1988, the State Council of the people's Republic of China announced it as a national key cultural relics protection unit. Qujiawan is located 66 kilometers northwest of Honghu City. There are 21 existing revolutionary sites, most of which are on the old streets to the west of Dianpai river. There are mainly the former sites of Xiangexi Provincial Committee of CPC, Xiangexi Soviet government, Xiangexi Revolutionary Military Committee, Xiangexi industrial and Agricultural Supervision Committee, Xiangexi Central Branch of CPC and Hongqi daily. The former site of Xiangexi Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China is a courtyard with two entrances, connected by a canopy in the middle, with a width of 12.5 meters and a depth of 17 meters. The former site of the Soviet government in Western Hunan and Hubei Province was the ancestral hall of Qu family. It was built in the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty (1796-1820). It is a three entrance courtyard, covering an area of 550 square meters. In 1964, Hubei Provincial Museum and Honghu revolutionary history museum investigated the former site of Qujiawan, established archives, set up protection signs, and established mass protection organizations. In 1977, Qujiawan revolutionary memorial hall was established. Zhoulaozui is located 30 kilometers northeast of Jianli County. There are 42 existing revolutionary sites, most of which are distributed in the East-West middle street. There are mainly the former sites of the general headquarters of the second Red Army regiment, the second Red Army headquarters, the sixth Red Army headquarters, the central branch of the Communist Party of China in Western Hunan and Hubei, the Central Committee of Western Hunan and Hubei Province, the Soviet government of Western Hunan and Hubei Province and the Revolutionary Military Commission of Western Hunan and Hubei Province. The former site of the Central Committee of Western Hunan and Hubei Province is adjacent to the former site of the Soviet government of Western Hunan and Hubei Province, both of which are brick and wood structures with three courtyards, covering an area of 220 square meters. In recent years, Zhou laozui revolutionary martyrs cemetery has been built. There is a memorial Pavilion for martyr Liu Zhixun in the cemetery.
