Ma Yinchu's former residence
Ma Yinchu, a contemporary Chinese economist, educationist and demographer, has many former residences and former residences, which have been announced as national key cultural relics protection units. Former residence of Shengzhou
Ma Yinchu's former residence in Shengzhou is located at No.74 Celebrity Street, Pukou street, Shengzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It was built in the Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty. It is a traditional Jiangnan residence built by Ma Disheng, Ma Yinchu's father. It is used by Ma Yinchu's family and the master and apprentice of "Ma Shuji" distillery. On June 24, 1882, Ma Yinchu was born here in the year of the horse, the month of the horse, the day of the horse, and spent his childhood and adolescence.
In the second half of 2000, Shengzhou municipal Party committee and government invested a lot of money to repair the former residence. The first and second renovation and the third overhaul made Ma Yinchu's former residence an important base for the masses of cadres and young students to learn and carry forward Ma Yinchu's spiritual style, as well as an important base for carrying out patriotism education and clean government education.
In 2014, the second phase of the restoration project was launched, mainly to repair the west side building and the east side building of the second entrance west chamber and the gate house of Ma Yinchu's former residence, which had long been uninhabited and seriously damaged.
Hangzhou former residence
Ma Yinchu's former residence in Hangzhou, located at 210 Qingchun Road, was built in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. It is a three story brick and wood structure building with a total area of 461 square meters. Originally owned by Ma Xingzhu, Ma Yinchu bought and lived in 1936. In May 1951, Ma Yinchu was appointed president of Peking University and left Hangzhou for Beijing. Since then, the building has been used by Zhejiang culture and History Research Institute since 1993.
In July 2000, the general office of the provincial Party committee submitted a request to the general office of the CPC Central Committee and the general office of the State Council for the construction of Ma Yinchu Memorial Hall in Ma Yinchu's former residence. In October of the same year, the Secretary Bureau of the general office of the CPC Central Committee and the Secretary Bureau of the general office of the State Council replied and agreed to establish the Ma Yinchu Memorial.
In 2003, the population welfare foundation of Ma Yinchu in Zhejiang Province began to renovate the former residence and prepare to build Ma Yinchu Memorial Hall. In September 2004, Ma Yinchu memorial hall was officially opened to the public free of charge.

Former residence of Shengzhou
Ma Yinchu's former residence in Shengzhou covers an area of 628 square meters, with a construction area of 1228 square meters. It faces north from South and has three entrances. It is surrounded by brick walls and inner wall panels. Hall three Bay, street building, stone door frame, real door. There are two patios in the middle, small in the front and large in the back, with air circulation and abundant light. On the second floor, in the middle is the hall, which also serves as a passageway. The east two rooms are small living room and accounting room (accounting room), and the west one is Ma Yinchu's parents' bedroom, where Ma Yinchu was born. The west room is Ma's kitchen. The third into the fifth, East and west two open, is the "horse tree" winery brewing site; the middle hall, is the corridor connecting the East and West, is the combination of brewing hub, north door can be open to the outside, convenient for external delivery of goods. Ma Yinchu's bedroom and upstairs passage are in the north of the west chamber, while the master and apprentice kitchen and dining room are in the East chamber. The second and third entrances are connected by corridors, commonly known as "Zoumalou", originally lived by the Ma brothers.
The ground floor of Ma Yinchu's former residence is restored to its original appearance, and the furnishings are still the same. Carved and hollowed out old-fashioned tables and chairs are displayed between the hall and the living room, equipped with ancient clocks and hat barrels; the bedroom is equipped with sedan chair type sleeping beds, boxes and cabinets, etc. The accounting room displays the four treasures of the accounting cabinet and the study, and the kitchen is an old-fashioned stove.
The second floor is called "Fengjie garden", which displays Ma Yinchu's life story. It takes diligence and honesty for the people, integrity and integrity as the main line, bamboo by the stream, lotus in the pond and lotus chanting poems as the metaphor. It is divided into Ma Yinchu's Chronicles, Shengzhou nurtured Ma Yinchu, Ma shoushizhan, patriotism and love the people, dare to be angry, dare to speak up, keep pace with the times, seek truth, sacrifice one's life, and life There are more than ten parts in this book, which integrate modern technologies such as objects, photos, sculptures, creative paintings and multimedia. More than 180 historical photos, charts and more than 230 physical objects are displayed in the former residence. The contents are rich and the materials are full and accurate, fully showing Ma Yinchu's patriotism for the people, honesty and uprightness.
Hangzhou former residence
After the renovation, the original appearance of the former residence in Hangzhou has been basically maintained. Now the first and second floors have been turned into exhibition halls, and Ma Yinchu's study and bedroom have been restored. The museum displays Ma Yinchu's photos, historical materials, works and manuscripts in various periods, including 10 special topics such as "taking western knowledge", "National Guard", "discussing the country together", "master of a generation", "grand population theory", "upholding the truth" and "shining on the world", showing Ma Yinchu's brilliant life for a hundred years. The desks, bookcases, desk lamps, high stools and reclining chairs, wheelchairs, clothes and hats displayed in the exhibition hall are all original objects used by Ma Yinchu during his lifetime.

Former residence of Shengzhou
Ma Yinchu's former residence is the birthplace of Ma Yinchu in Shengzhou. He lived until he was 17 years old and went to Shanghai to study. After that, he went back to his hometown twice and got married. He went back to his hometown to study in the 1950s. After his death, he was buried in wangshe village, Xianyan Town, Shengzhou, where he got together with his ancestral grave.
Ma Yinchu's former residence is the education base of Contemporary Patriotism and clean government construction.
Hangzhou former residence
The bamboo house has three floors in Hangzhou. It is an irregular Chinese and Western style garden villa with brick and wood structure. It has unique shape and exquisite structure. "Bamboo house" is engraved on the south wall of the balcony on the third floor, so this small building is also called "bamboo house". The bamboo house was purchased by Ma Yinchu in 1936. He left in 1937 because of the war and lived here in 1946, 1947 and 1949-1951. He also lived in the bamboo house when he was president of Zhejiang University. Some of Ma Yinchu's economic works and speeches were written in bamboo house. During this period, Ma Yinchu wrote more than 20 articles, such as "the interaction between capitalism and socialism", "learning from Comrade Wang Ruofei". He also delivered more than 20 speeches such as "about the current economic crisis" and "economy and democracy" at Zhejiang University and Shanghai Hujiang University. On June 13, 1946, Ma Yinchu delivered a speech at the rally of "against civil war and betrayal of the country" jointly held by more than 20 schools in Hangzhou, and marched with the students in the rain. On August 26, 1949, he was appointed as the first president of Zhejiang University after liberation. In September, he went to Beijing to attend the first session of the National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference. At the meeting, he was elected as a standing member of the Central People's government and vice chairman of the Finance Committee. He also served as vice chairman of the East China military and political Commission. In 1951, he took over the post of president of Peking University and left here.

Originally a county-level cultural relics protection unit, it was named as a provincial key cultural relics protection unit by Zhejiang provincial government in August 1997.

Hangzhou former residence
Ma Yinchu's former residence in Hangzhou was listed as a cultural relic protection unit of Hangzhou in July 2000 and a cultural relic protection unit of Zhejiang Province in March 2005. In May 2006, it was announced as the Sixth Batch of national key cultural relics protection units by the State Council.
In the process of preparation and management, Ma Yinchu memorial has been supported and helped by the provincial Party committee, the provincial government and relevant departments. It has a sound and responsible leading group. It employs Xu Aiguang, the winner of the first China Population Award, as the curator, and is equipped with full-time Deputy curators. It has a Council, and the leading group is sound. The memorial has a complete set of management system, which is free to open all year round and has no rest days. Several high-quality commentators are recruited. Both the first and second floors of Ma Yinchu memorial hall are exhibition halls, displaying a large number of pictures and materials. The audience generally reflects that the historical materials are full and accurate, and the content is rich. The exhibition hall is also equipped with two sets of multimedia, which can play continuously for 200 minutes, becoming the supplement and expansion of the exhibition version. In the exhibition hall on the second floor, there is a 42 inch plasma TV, which can play Ma Yinchu's TV series and feature films for the visiting team. The museum has also printed small folding pages in Chinese, English and Japanese, and compiled and printed the special issue of Ma Yinchu memorial hall, which is distributed free of charge. In addition to receiving visitors to the museum, the museum has set up a mobile memorial hall, produced activity display boards, video clips, and played them in community schools. In 2008, the memorial hall was listed as the second classroom activity base for young people in Hangzhou.
Ma Yinchu memorial hall has become a patriotic education base with distinctive characteristics of the times and rich humanistic connotation, a communication base of scientific spirit and a social practice base for teenagers.
