Cui Fen's tomb

Cui Fen tomb is a national key cultural relic protection unit and an ancient tomb of the northern and Southern Dynasties and the Eastern Wei Dynasty.

It is located in the south slope of Haifu mountain, Hongxin village, Yeyuan Town, Linqu County, Shandong Province. The sealed soil has been destroyed. Three tombs with one stone chamber have been found, which should be a family cemetery. In 1986, the ancient tomb site was discovered and cleaned up. The tomb chamber is in the shape of "a", which is composed of square tomb chamber, corridor and shaft type tomb passage. It is built with stones and pointed with lime. The top of the tomb is shaped like a bucket and the four corners are sharp. The side of the tomb is 3.5 meters long and 3.3 meters high, with a stone coffin bed and colorful murals. A large number of pottery figurines have been destroyed, including a box of epitaphs, eight series Celadon pots, chicken head pots, beans, bowls, bronze mirrors and five baht coins. The 667 character stone inscription on the epitaph is a typical Wei stele. Cui Fen, the owner of the tomb, was a general of Wei lie at the end of the Eastern Wei Dynasty. He died in the first year of Tianbao (550) of the Northern Qi Dynasty, and was buried in the Cui family cemetery the next year. The wall of the corridor is painted with swords and warriors, the south wall of the tomb is painted with rosefinch and stars, the other three walls and the top of the tomb are painted with sun, moon and stars, as well as the gods of green dragon, white tiger, rosefinch and Xuanwu. The murals are also painted with master's travel pictures, "Seven Sages of the bamboo forest", dance, landscape and so on. The colors are bright and the lines are smooth, which can be called the best paintings of the Northern Dynasties.
