Nanfeng mountain is located at sanlixu in the south of the city, with Hongshan in the South and Longshou peaks in the north. The altitude is not high, but with Qinqi mountains, winding streams, clear water, luxuriant trees and quiet environment, it has always been a good place for people to go for a spring outing and climb in Chongjiu. Now it has really become one of the scenic spots attached to the city.

1. The oldest building in Nanfeng mountain is Nanfeng nunnery. According to local records, it was built in 957 A.D., more than 1000 years ago. The initial scale is no longer available. In the Ming Dynasty, Xie Zhaozhi, an official from Changle, came to this nunnery and wrote down his first-hand information: "the nunnery is about three miles away from the south gate, the winding path is Qinqi, and the bridge is across the stream. Two banyan trees beside the bridge are hanging out of the ground to form a gate. Pedestrians come in and out here. There's a small stage in the back (county annals called xiaotai "chunfengtai"). Fu Ruzhou, a contemporary from Fuzhou, wrote a poem to record the five laws: "the ancient trees are in danger, and the door is made according to heaven. The clouds can't fly, and the tiger should be ecstatic. When people are quiet on the Bamboo Road, mountain monks will respect each other, friends will never be tired of traveling and sitting, and leaves are full of gold. ". Later, li ba, the magistrate of Funing during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, also chanted "chunfengtai": "where should we not cut down the gate? The ancient trees of Nanfeng meet Yunping. Every year, the spring breeze rises on the stage, and a clear shade shines on the eyes. " They wrote about Nanfeng nunnery and its surrounding quiet environment, especially mentioning the two ancient banyan trees which were deeply rooted. According to Xie and Fu, the banyan tree had already become a family. By the time Li Baba, it was probably no less than 200 years old. Today, banyan and chunfengtai no longer exist. Nanfeng nunnery has been destroyed and repaired for a long time. In recent years, the nunnery has returned to the management of the Buddhist Association. The main hall, Zhaitang, monk's house and mountain gate have been repaired or newly built. The building covers an area of 1100 square meters, and the nunnery looks brand new. The whole nunnery lies in the five veins of Nanfeng, like sitting in the lotus center. There is a Ming Dynasty Shuangfeng Chaoyang stone relief and a small relic stone pagoda in the nunnery, both of which are very precious historical relics.

2. Not far from the upper left side of Nanfeng nunnery, there was a small ancient tomb made of stone blocks, which was not known when it was built. The inscription is "Tomb of chongkai mountain". Next to it are two lines of small characters: "Jingyi Jushi rengong" and "Chongren Jushi Shougong", which were not recorded in the annals of the Qing Dynasty and before. In 1926 (the 15th year of the Republic of China), Xiapu County annals was compiled and named "Shuangshi tomb", which was included in the annals of scenic spots, and a piece of legend was perfunctorily written. Just as the preface of the annals said, "the two or three fathers used to help the ancient things and refer to the immortals", it was caused by different human feelings. In recent years, the tomb has been rebuilt by local people, which is completely different from the old one. 3. It is a matter of recent years to develop the Nanfeng Piedmont area as a scenic spot. In 1992, Xie Lvli, a retired veteran comrade of Chengguan, was concerned about the local tourism. He proposed to build a scenic spot in Nanfeng mountain, which has a moderate location and beautiful environment, and soon won the support and sponsorship of relevant units and enthusiasts in the county and town. Over the past few years, we have built six pavilions, a tower, a stone bridge and cliff carvings along Renshan Avenue. The pavilion is named after Dianchun, songcui, Wangyue, Fubin, Wanshou and Liangfeng. It has different structures and shapes. It is either elegant or simple and has national characteristics. The pagoda, with seven storeys, stands on the side slope of Wanshou Pavilion. It is solemn and has the atmosphere of Zen. Wuling bridge is built on top of the turbulent clear current, and the stone carving of "meandering path clear current" below. Walking along the bridge, people gradually feel deep, making people feel like visiting Peach Blossom Land. On the next step, the sound of Qing Sanskrit comes from the breeze, and the outer gate of Nanfeng nunnery is in sight. In the scenic area, there are the huaifeng platform and tablet screen built by the family of Mr. Li Zhenhua, a Chinese American (originally from Xiapu), in memory of the late Mr. Li, and the 200 meter long Aixiang road invested by Mr. Lin, a Taiwan compatriot. In particular, the former Qinqi winding road has become a smooth road, which is convenient for many tourists Guest. Similar to the pavilions and Moyan stone carvings, there are ink treasures and couplets elaborately composed by calligraphers and celebrities inside and outside the province, such as Qigong, master mingtiao and Lin Kai. Lin a CAI, the former Secretary of the county Party committee, inscribed the plaque of "beautiful Nanfeng" and Huang Jiazeng, the county magistrate, wrote the inscriptions, which add to the rich artistic atmosphere of the scenic spot. In addition, Lingzhao pagoda, a cemetery for thousands of people, was built nearby to change customs. 4. The development of Nanfeng scenic spot is only preliminary. However, the old look has changed, which has attracted more and more tourists. While enjoying the scenery, they have a deep sense of gratitude to the builders of the scenic spot.
