The north spring, 300 meters away from the South Spring, echoes the South Spring. A pavilion was built right above the spring to protect the whole spring. With modern pumping facilities, the spring water is continuously transported to the mineral water plant and bottled out of the factory after special technical treatment.

The scenic spot is located in Beibei District, adjacent to Jialing River in the north and Jinyun Mountain in the south. Wenquan temple, formerly known as Wenquan temple, was first built in 423 (the first year of Jingping in the Southern Dynasty) and rebuilt in 1432 (the seventh year of Xuande in the Ming Dynasty). In 1927, Lu Zuofu founded Jialingjiang hot spring park here, added hot spring swimming pool, bathroom, restaurant and other tourist facilities, and later renamed Chongqing North Hot Spring Park
The park is built in accordance with the natural terrain, with pavilions and pavilions at random, green bamboos, verdant trees, picturesque scenery. The scenery in the garden is centered on the four main halls. Guan temple, also known as the three holy halls, is the gate of Wenquan temple. Behind the reception hall, there is a square pool composed of mountain springs and streams. The stone bridge railings on the pool are engraved with patterns of Unicorn, plantain, flowers and birds, all of which were made in the Ming Dynasty. There is a Buddha statue of Ming Dynasty in the Great Buddha Hall, and a pair of stone lions in front of the hall are very unique. Guanyin hall is supported by stone pillars and covered with iron tiles, commonly known as "iron tile hall".
There are Guxiang garden, stone garden, fish pond and lotus pond in the east of the four halls, and Ruhua cave, Wutan Yinyue and other scenic spots in the north. Guxiang garden is the former site of Wenquan temple. In the garden, the ancient trees are towering and the sun is covered with shade. There are tombs of monks in song, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Most of the stone sculptures in the park are stone tablets of the song, Ming and Qing Dynasties, among which the Panlong pagoda of the Ming Dynasty is a treasure.
There are 10 hot springs in the park, with a daily flow of 5675 tons and a water temperature of 35 ° c-37 ° C. It is a weakly alkaline sulfuric acid type mineral spring, which has certain curative effect on skin, joint, gastrointestinal and other diseases.
Wenquan temple was the lower courtyard of Jinyun temple in ancient times. The temple is brilliant, with many stone carvings and flourishing incense. Later, Emperor Wu of the Northern Zhou Dynasty and Emperor Wu Zong of the Tang Dynasty destroyed the Buddha twice, causing serious damage. During the period of emperor Zhen Zong of the Tang Dynasty, Zen master Yougu jingman rebuilt the temple and carved cliff Buddha statues in the back rocks. In 1007, Wenquan temple was granted Chongsheng Temple by the imperial court. The Ming and Qing dynasties can be regarded as the golden age of Wenquan temple. The temple had to be rebuilt. At the same time, the Jieguan pavilion was built in front of the temple, and a pool was built at the back of the temple. The square of the temple is four feet wide, with a pavilion on the upper wing. Visitors can bathe in the pool when it's sunny or rainy. Using the hot spring water source and terrain, a fish playing pool and a half moon pool were built for visitors to enjoy.
