Yihe Pavilion is one of the buildings in the middle of the back area of ningshou palace in the northeast corner of the Forbidden City. There is Leshou hall in the South and Jingqi Pavilion in the north. There are corridors between the pavilion and the pavilion, forming I-shaped hall. Yihe pavilion was built in 1772, and rebuilt twice in 1802 and 1891.

The Yihe pavilion has a width of 7 rooms and a depth of 1 room. It has a single eaves and a Xieshan roof, covered with yellow glazed tiles. The front eaves have 5 rooms and the back eaves have 3 rooms. In addition to the front eaves, the rest of the rooms are out of the corridor. The front eaves of the building are open between the Ming Dynasty and the East and the west, forming a far-reaching front corridor. The East and the West are equipped with plate walls, and the south is equipped with sill walls and supporting windows. Xuanming room is a door with five plaster heads, and the second room is a window with a sill, a brocade window on the top and a square glass drawer window on the bottom. Slightly for the step-by-step brocade pick window. The second room in the back eaves, the little room in the shanmianxuan, and the last room are all window sill. There are three corridors in the Ming Dynasty, which are connected to Jingqi Pavilion in the north. The corridor opens from east to west and leads to two small courtyards in the north. The porch on the west side of Xuandong mountain is enclosed in the north and south, with a small gate. Outside the porch, there are pavilions and corridors, forming a small courtyard.
There is a sundial on the left side of the platform in front of yihexuan. The platform connects Yong road and leshoutang. There are glass flower pools on both sides of Yong road. On both sides of the pavilion, there are corridors connecting the Leshou hall, and the wall of the corridor is inlaid with jingshengzhai stone carvings.
