Tanshishan site in Fuzhou
The Tanshishan site in Fuzhou is the cradle of Fujian prehistoric marine culture in the late Neolithic period
Tanshishan site is located in sugarcane street of Minhou. It is a late Neolithic marine peiqiu cultural site, which is the cradle of prehistoric marine culture in Fujian.
In 2009, the site was opened to the public free of charge as a museum. In the site hall at the top of the mountain, some sites such as tombs, pottery kilns and trenches excavated for the eighth time in 1997 are preserved.
Walking in the exhibition hall, the newly built ground is completely separated from the original site. People are in it as if they are shuttling between history and reality, feeling the long dusty civilization.
