Introduced into China
Christian Church originated in Palestine under the rule of the Roman Empire in the first century. In 635, Christianity began to spread to China. At that time, Christianity was introduced into China as Nestorianism. The sect believes in the theological view of the victory of the Archbishop of Constantinople in the fifth century, advocates the separation of the divinity and humanity of Jesus, and opposes the reverence of the mother of Jesus as the Virgin Mary. During the reign of Zhenguan, Amoo, a Syrian bishop of niepai, came to Chang'an via Persia and was received by Emperor Taizong of Tang Dynasty. In the 12th year of Zhenguan (638 AD), Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty allowed him to preach and built a Persian temple in Chang'an with the support of the government. Later, Persia temple was renamed Daqin temple. Nestorianism began to decline in the period of emperor Wuzong of the Tang Dynasty, and rose again after the yuan and Ming Dynasties. In the late Qing Dynasty, various Christian factions were introduced into China and extended to urban and rural areas.

Qingdao, Shandong
Qingdao's famous religious buildings are located at No.15 Jiangsu Road, adjacent to the beautiful Signal Mountain Park in the East, with beautiful scenery. Christian Church is a typical German castle building, which is composed of bell tower and auditorium. The clock tower is 39.10 meters high. You can enjoy the beautiful sea and sky of the island city when you climb the tower. The huge clocks on the clock tower add a bit of mystery and solemnity to the solemn church. The auditorium is spacious and bright, and can accommodate thousands of people. Both sides of the 18 meter high hall are divided into two floors, one is upstairs, the other is downstairs. The decoration is very exquisite and elegant. It gives people a sense of holiness. It is a perfect masterpiece of Christian Architectural art.
The square in front of the church is flat and wide, surrounded by green trees. All kinds of Western-style buildings are scattered around, which further sets off the grandeur of the church buildings. When the dawn is gradually expanding, and the light is wiping the East sky, the distant mountains and near trees, and the green top and yellow wall appear and disappear in the dawn fog. This scene can not help suspecting that we are in a foreign land. Climbing up the narrow steps of the rock mound, the strong and heavy walls of the church, semi arched granite window frames, steep red roofs and green spires of the bell tower are clearly displayed. The thick granite wall base is dignified and rough, which makes the outline of the whole church clear and concise, giving people a unique aesthetic feeling of religious architecture.
Christian Church was originally hosted by German Christian Lutheran Church in Berlin. In 1914, Japan occupied Qingdao for the first time and established itself. After the end of the first World War, it became an "international chapel" for all foreign believers in Qingdao. After the liberation of Qingdao, the office of the "three self" Patriotic Movement Committee of Qingdao was set up here. During the "Cultural Revolution", the church was closed and worship resumed in November 1980.
In 1984, Qingdao Municipal People's government listed it as a municipal cultural relics protection unit. In June 1992, Shandong Provincial People's government listed it as a cultural relic protection unit at the provincial level.
Zhabei, Shanghai
Zhabei church, formerly known as Hongkou Presbyterian Church, was founded in 1888, 115 years ago. The church was originally presided over by John van der Waals, a missionary of the American northern Presbyterian Church, and Chen Zhigu, a Presbyterian. In 1894, pastor Yu Guozhen became a pastor and presided over holy work for 30 years. Pastor Yu urged the Chinese Church to be independent and free from the control of foreign churches. In 1904, believers were mobilized to donate money to build a hall on Haining Road, which was named "self reliant Presbyterian hall on Haining Road, Hubei". In 1914, the house on Haining Road was sold and a new hall was built near baotongdao Commercial Press in Zhabei District, which was renamed "Zhabei self reliant Presbyterian hall". Since 1927, Zhabei church has been renamed "Zhabei Church of Chinese Christian Church".
In 1927, workers in Shanghai took part in the third armed uprising. The followers of Zhabei hall, who worked in the Commercial Press, joined the uprising together with other workers. Chen Anfang, a young believer, died in rescuing the wounded, leaving his daughter who was only six months old. In 1932, Zhabei hall was destroyed by Japanese invaders. It was rebuilt in 1936. On August 13, 1937, Zhabei hall was destroyed again by Japanese imperialist artillery fire until it was rebuilt in 1947.
After the birth of new China, the believers of Zhabei Church took part in the "three self" patriotic movement of Christianity and realized their dream of church independence. In 1958, the churches of different sects in Zhabei District were united, and 16 churches in Zhabei District were merged into Zhabei church, realizing the unity of Chinese churches. After ten years of turmoil, church activities were forced to stop, and Zhabei hall was occupied by factories. In the second half of 1981, the Church took back Zhabei church and restored it in July 1982 after renovation. In October 1987, a new auditorium and office building were built. In 1996, in order to meet the religious needs of Christians in Pengpu area, Zhabei church was built at 1555 Linfen Road. The history of Zhabei hall for more than 100 years is accompanied by the rise and fall of the country and the nation, and is closely related to the destiny of the country and the nation.

At present, the construction of Christian churches in cities is generally high-grade, while the infrastructure of Christian churches in counties, towns and villages is quite different. Christian Church has gradually become a place for tourism and leisure. The church management should do a good job in the following eight aspects: loving the country and teaching, knowing and abiding by the law, unity and stability, standardized management, orderly activities, dignified teaching style, safe and clean, and serving the society, so as to make efforts to build a safe China and harmonious church.
